The Bulldogs (3-1) are led by senior Temple commit Amir Gillis, one of the best quarterbacks in the state.

For the Panthers (3-1), Penn State commit Isheem Young patrols the secondary and is also an offensive threat out of the backfield and in the return game.

Imhotep's last loss to a Pub opponent came back in 2013 when the Panthers fell, 32-30, to King in a game played two days before Imhotep faced Catasaqua in the PIAA 2A quarterfinals. Several starters did not play the entire game.

Before that, Imhotep's last loss came in 2011 against Bok in the 2A Pub finals.

Look for Imhotep junior lineman Omar Speights and Gratz senior linebacker Nasir Nixon to play significant roles for their respective defenses.
