Highlights from Pennsylvania sports on Friday.

Romea Ricardo scored the game-winning goal in overtime Friday to lift the Downingtown West field hockey team past Notre Dame, 2-1.
Ciana Riccardo opened the scoring midway through the first half for the visiting Whippets. Lauren Curran leveled the contest for Notre Dame five minutes later off an assist from Meghan Mitchell.

Emma Reuter scored the overtime winner for Academy of the New Church in a 2-1 win against Jenkintown. Caelyn Henderson scored in the first half for the host Lions.

Cailey Lever scored four times to lift host Central Bucks East past rival Central Bucks West, 5-2. Phia Mannino also added a goal for the home squad. Dani Dundas and Casey Reichwein struck in the second half for Central Bucks West.

Boys’ Soccer

Senior Jake Frank scored his 50th career goal in Bishop Shanahan's 14-1 win against host Chichester. Harrison Coron, Alex Frank, Shimon Hilton, Michael Krause, and Nicholas Krause each scored twice in the rout.

Danny Harmon and Nick Hatzenbeller each had a hat trick as Hatboro-Horsham defeated Quakertown, 7-0. Harmon also added two assists.
Kaito Kitazawa tallied the only goal for host Bonner-Prendergast in a 1-0 win against Bishop McDevitt.

Central Bucks West got a goal apiece from Tarin Morris, Miles Neal, and Alan Zlotin to edge Central Bucks South, 3-2, at home. Dylan Smith and Brendan Gibbons combined for a shutout in goal.

Serval Latipov scored two goals and David Panea chipped in one to lead Washington past host Kensington, 3-1, in Public League action.
Alec Lobanov and Obi Onuoha notched a goal each as Pennsbury topped Methacton, 2-0, on the road. Mason LeSage made seven saves for the hosts.

Brandon Yaletsko scored the lone goal of the match off an assist from Charles Greenwood as Philadelphia Academy Charter edged New Foundations Charter, 1-0. Brenden Werner made four saves in the shutout.

Girls’ Soccer

Lower Moreland got goals from Allison Asmann, Nicole Castor, Brianna Costa, Yasmeen Machlos, and Riley Malone in a 5-0 win against visiting Calvary Christian. Jessica Murawsky made three saves in the shutout.

Teresa Hegarty notched a hat trick for Merion Mercy in a 3-3 draw against St. Hubert. St. Hubert stormed back in the second half as Ava Pizzaro tallied two goals and Tori Wolstenholme added one to tie the match. Five of the six goals came on either free kicks or penalty kicks.

Basketball

Cheltenham guard Jack Clark has committed to play basketball at La Salle.
