Prep has another tough schedule; Suburban One powers rebuild.

With the 2009 season set to kick off in a few hours, let's take a look at some pressing matters for area teams, noteworthy returning players, and some miscellaneous items mixed in with a few predictions:
Tim Sorber, Abington's head coach and a health and physical education teacher, regularly sees the 1989 Suburban One League Colonial Division football championship banner that hangs from the rafters of the school's gymnasium.
It's a drill the Downingtown East girls' soccer team usually practices once a week: one-on-one against the goalkeepers.
So when Cougars senior keeper Kaelyn Johns found herself in that exact situation with three minutes remaining in the second overtime period Saturday against Conestoga, she was ready. After all, East had gone over that situation at practice just the previous day.
