Once the playoffs started, the scoring hasn't stopped for the Downingtown West girls' soccer team.
When it was all over, Father Judge soccer coach John Dunlop could barely talk, but he had one more thing to say to his players: Go thank the fans. So the Father Judge players took off toward the stands. Dunlop decided to follow, with his right arm raised to the sky.

After his team's historic victory last week in the Class AAA boys' soccer playoffs, Father Judge coach John Dunlop said he was not surprised to see his team come out a little flat against area power Downingtown West.

In District 1 Class AAA football, it was the Ryan Brumfield show once again for host Owen J. Roberts in a 34-7 first-round win over Marple Newtown Friday night.
