Pa. girls: Basil's Lapkiewicz scores 1,000th point

With eight seconds remaining, Bern McGeever hit a midrange six-footer to hoist Merion Mercy over visiting Mount St. Joseph, 43-41.

Down by one, Annie Whalen sunk a three-pointer with 15 seconds left to lift Villa Joseph Marie over visiting Villa Maria, 38-36.

Catholic League. Alisha Kebbe and Kamiah Smalls each had 16 points to carry Neumann-Goretti in a 58-21 romp at Archbishop Ryan.

With 18 points, five rebounds, and four assists, Emily Monaghan and host Bonner-Prendergast routed Hallahan, 72-29. Princess Clemons added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Pandas while Maggie McPeak recorded four points and five assists.

Hannah Nihill had 15 points with 12 coming in the first quarter as Cardinal O'Hara drubbed visiting St. Hubert.

Del-Val League. Academy Park ran away early at home, leading by 45-22 at halftime over visiting Chester. Mayah Woodton had 25 points, and Raven-Monet Kemper scored 21.

Friends Schools League. Host Abington Friends never trailed in a 41-28 win over Shipley. Alexa Middleton recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Casey Remolde added seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Inter-Ac. Alex Bolstrom led all scorers with 24 points as visiting Agnes Irwin cruised past Baldwin, 53-35.

Germantown Academy spread the scoring around with four players recording double-digit figures as the hosts defeated Springside Chestnut Hill, 58-34. Kendall Grasela had 10 points, seven assists, and three blocks, while Cat Polisano added 12 points and five steals.

Public League. Franklin Learning Center heated up late when Deja Rollins drained 16 of her 23 points in the second half to dispatch visiting Girls High, 47-42.

Host Randolph was buoyed by Ricreeda Malcolm's 22 points - eight in the fourth quarter - to defeat Esperanza, 44-42.

Cyanie Hull-Smith led all scorers with 25 points in Northeast's 51-43 home overtime win against Lincoln.
