Pa. Girls: Pa. girls: Sargent wins SOL cross-country title

CROSS-COUNTRY SUBURBAN ONE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Olivia Sargent of Pennsbury covered the 3.1-mile course at Lehigh University in 17 minutes, 33 seconds to win the division championship. Sargent's teammates Hannah Molloy, Mary Webb, Maddie Sauer, Merideth Twomey, Bailey Balmer and Rachel Estey also finished in the top seven to lead Pennsbury to the team title.

SUBURBAN ONE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

SUBURBAN ONE AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Sarah Richart of Cheltenham completed the course in 19:15 to win the division championship. Saddie Gustafson, Sophie Gustafson and Emily Stewart finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively to pace Upper Dublin to the team title.

Suburban One Continental Championship

Maddie Villalba of Central Bucks West finished in 18:34 to win the division title. Ariana Gardizy, Olivia Dyer and Phoebe Clowser finished second, sixth and seventh, respectively, and North Penn won the team championship.

NONLEAGUE

West Chester Rustin 1, Neshaminy 0: Cassie Cheeseman scored the winner with 29 minutes left in the second half. The visitors recorded their sixth straight win and 12th shutout of the year.

St. Basil 2, Lower Moreland 1: Meghan DiDomenico and Sophia Mahoney netted goals for the home team. Abbey Carter added one assist.

MaST Charter 2, Bodine 0: Allyson Holtz and Mackenzie Murphy scored for the visitors and assisted on each other's goals.

PUBLIC LEAGUE

Northeast 1, Masterman 0: Lycia Sweeney scored in the first half for the visitors.

FRIENDS SCHOOLS LEAGUE

Westtown 4, Moorestown Friends 3: Isabella Almonte and Maddie Roberts scored two goals apiece for the visitors.

FIELD HOCKEY

INTER-AC LEAGUE

Germantown Acad. 7, Springside Chestnut Hill 3: Shayne Cerebe had a hat trick for the visitors. Sammy Popper added two goals.

FRIENDS' SCHOOLS LEAGUE

Westtown 5, Moorestown Friends 0: Katie DeLuca scored twice for the visitors. Dewi Henry, Sammie Pavlov and Julia Richards also scored.

NONLEAGUE

Notre Dame 2, Cardinal O'Hara 1: Quinn Maguire and Mary Kate Neff scored two straight second-half goals for the hosts.
