Pa. boys: Radnor rallies - twice - past Garnet Valley

Corelli retired 10 of the last 12 batters he faced and scored the winning run on John Lord's two-out double in the bottom of the sixth as Radnor defeated Garnet Valley, 6-5, in a Central League baseball game.

Will Girton had two hits and two runs for the Raiders, who overcame two two-run deficits.

In other Central League action:

Ben Newbert hit a walk-off, two-run single in the bottom of the eighth to send Harriton to a 12-11 victory over Haverford High. Tristan Kevitch recorded four hits.

Conestoga scored a pair of first-inning runs and that was all Mark Anderson (four-hitter) needed in a 2-0 victory at Marple Newtown.

Tyler Kight pitched six innings of one-hit ball to lead host Penncrest to a 9-0 victory over Lower Merion. Kight also had two hits and two runs.

Ben Thorpe struck out five in a four-hitter as Springfield (Delco) slipped by visiting Ridley, 2-1.

Ashton Raines and Casey Rosier both drove in two runs to propel host Strath Haven to a 9-3 win over Upper Darby.

Bicentennial. Tim Brennan went 3 for 3 with two runs to lead Holy Ghost Prep to a 12-2 victory over visiting Church Farm.

Matt Carter went 4 for 4 with two runs and two RBIs in MaST Charter's 7-5 win at Bristol.

Ches-Mont. Vinny Feola singled home Zach Roberts in the bottom of the sixth inning to give West Chester Henderson the lead for good in its 7-3 win over Great Valley.

Del-Val. Jon Polillo struck out 11 in a two-hitter as Interboro cruised past Glen Mills, 9-0, at home. Polillo threw a first-pitch strike to 23 of the 26 batters he faced.

Suburban One Continental. Ryan Murphy struck out five in a four-hitter as visiting Hatboro-Horsham edged Pennridge, 3-1. It was the second consecutive complete game for the Hatters. Joe Molettiere struck out eight in a four-hitter for Penncrest.

Public C. Julio Ramos struck out 15 as Maritime Academy sailed past visiting Franklin Learning Center, 8-2. Mason Richardson went 3 for 4.

Public D. Marquan Wallace struck out five in a four-inning three-hitter to lead String Theory to a 15-0 victory over visiting Strawberry Mansion

Nonleague. Evan Spector threw four innings of no-hit relief to earn the win in Shipley's 8-6 victory over visiting Central. Peter Sobelman had three hits and drove in five runs, including the go-ahead run in the fifth inning.

Lacrosse

Austin Slawter had four goals and seven assists as Archbishop Ryan cruised to a 16-0 Catholic League victory at Bonner-Prendergast.

Shane Taylor added three goals and two assists.

Central. Clayton Proctor paired four goals with three assists to lead Radnor to a 12-5 home win over Harriton. Jack Norton added two goals and two assists. Harriton's Jack Veasey had three goals and one assist.

Tom Higgins scored four times to lead Lower Merion to a 10-8 win at Marple Newtown.
