Hill School 18, Lansdale Catholic 2: Amanda Dupell scored four goals and Makena Hanson finished with three goals and one assist to lead the Blues in their home opener. Eileen Carmichael added two goals and one assist. Bree Gorman scored two goals. Carmichael, Hanson, Ally Maner, Giavanna Tabarrini, and Janet Chen all recorded their first varsity goals for Hill School, which reached the first round of the Pa. Independent Schools Athletic Association state tournament last season.

Owen J. Roberts 17, Souderton 7: Kerry Huzzard scored six goals to lead the hosts. Maddie Gebert added three goals and Alli Bevivino and Morgan Stone added two goals each. It was the third consecutive win for Owen J. Roberts, which finished in third place in the Pioneer Liberty Division last season. Sara Maute made 11 saves. Amber Lambeth scored three goals for Souderton.

Haverford High 16, Avon Grove 6: Jess Mellon, who has committed to La Salle, scored five goals to lead the visitors. Laura Winters added three goals and one assist. Regan Cook recorded a hat trick for Avon Grove.

Downingtown East 13, Council Rock North 8: Duquesne recruit Sarah Kollhoff scored five goals to lead the Cougars at home. Victoria Barretta, who has committed to Maryland, and Lauren Pittman each scored three goals.

CATHOLIC ACADEMIES

Gwynedd Mercy 18, Villa Maria 1: Rollins College recruit Ashley Stefanowicz and Fairfield-bound Kelly Pizzirani each scored five times to lead the Monarchs at home.

PIONEER

Phoenixville 13, Upper Perkiomen 4: Zoe Bullotta scored six goals to lead the visiting Phantoms. Carolyn Groener, Tara Gilroy, and Natalie Rubino added two goals each.

Spring-Ford 9, Methacton 6: Sara Hughes and Jess McNally both scored two goals in the loss for host Methacton.

PUBLIC LEAGUE

Girls High 13, Mastery Charter 0: Destiny Brooks scored four goals to lead the visiting Gazelles. Julie Chin and Nana Huang added three goals each. Briella Lugo scored twice and Annie Tuch put in one goal. Cynthia Phun made seven saves for the shutout.

SOFTBALL

Friends Select 3, Franklin Towne Charter 0: Kiara Kahan had a two-RBI hit with one out in the bottom of the fourth to put the Falcons ahead, 2-0. Kahan then came home to complete the scoring. Zina Robbins-Maldonado threw a three-hitter for Friends Select.
