Pa. Boys: Thurs. Pa. boys: Henderson prevails in OT

North Penn 1, Central Bucks West 0 - Mike Kohler scored with six minutes left in overtime to lift the No. 7 Knights over the 26th-seeded visitors. Jordan Katz had eight saves.

Conestoga 1, Marple Newtown 0 - Matt Marcelli's first-half goal held up for the ninth-ranked hosts in a defeat of the 24th seed.

West Chester East 1, Penncrest 0 - Eric Drew scored 10 minutes into the second half for the host 25th seed.

Springfield (D) 2, Harriton 0 - Nick Janelli and Danny Korinth scored second-half goals to lead the host 14th seed past the 19th seed.

Great Valley 3, Owen J. Roberts 1 - The No. 15 seed rallied at home for three goals in the second half against the 18th seed. Kyle Hoops' second goal, a penalty kick, put the hosts ahead.

Public Soccer Semis

Adin Hernandez-Carrera scored off a restart with 10 minutes left in the first overtime, and host Northeast knocked off defending Public League champion Central, 1-0.

Washington 6, Northeast 3 - Stepan Fytsyk's hat trick paced the Eagles at Northeast. Kwaku Kyeremah scored two goals, and Cristian Curtean had a goal and three assists.

Dist. 12 Cross-Country

La Salle won its first district title in five years by edging Cardinal O'Hara, 32-35, at Belmont Plateau in the Class AAA championship. Cardinal O'Hara runners Kevin James (16:41.5), Ryan James (16:41.9), and Rob Morro (16:42.8) swept the top three spots. Sean Princavalle led La Salle in fourth.

Bonner-Prendergast won the Class AA title behind first- and third-place finishes from Ryan Rastatter (16:59.9) and Sean Sullivan (17:27.8). Archbishop Carroll's Tyler Zwicharowski (17:26.7) was second.
