For the fourth straight game Saturday, the Blue Devils scored five touchdowns. And for the fifth straight time they won, thumping visiting Hill School, 35-19, in a nonleague game.

This week, it was Syaire Madden's turn to erupt. He rushed for 302 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

Paul Dooley completed 9 of 18 passes for 230 yards, including two touchdowns to his favorite target, Dylan Parsons. Dooley also had 71 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Springside Chestnut Hill, which is ranked 25th in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer, will begin its Inter-Ac League schedule Saturday against Penn Charter.

In other nonleague games:

Germantown Academy scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to put away visiting Blair Academy, 27-13. Isaiah Jones broke a tie with a 67-yard touchdown run, his second score of the day, and Kyle McCloskey finished it off with a keeper. Jones carried 15 times for 152 yards. McCloskey had 165 yards passing and a touchdown.

Kyle Shurmur threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, and No. 2 La Salle rallied in the fourth quarter to beat McDonogh School (Md.), 31-20. The Explorers went ahead late in the fourth on a Shurmur keeper set up by a 73-yard pass to Jordan Meachum. The pair connected again on the touchdown that put the game away. Jimmy Herron also had a touchdown reception, the 29th of his career.

No. 4 St. Joseph's Prep gave up the first 34 points and couldn't dig out in a 47-29 loss at St. Joseph of Montvale (N.J.). D'Andre Swift ran for a touchdown and returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score in the second half, but the Hawks could get no closer than 12 points.

Public League AAAA Independence. Rafael Rodriguez's 90-yard interception return sealed Ben Franklin's 40-6 victory over Martin Luther King at Simon Gratz.

Public League AAA. Fifth-ranked Imhotep Charter scored all its points in the first half of a 50-0 defeat of Mastery North at the Northwest Super Site. Andre Dreuitt-Parks threw for two touchdowns, and Seifuddin Black returned two interceptions for scores.

Pioneer Athletic. Damien Davido's 95-yard kickoff return sparked Phoenixville to its first win of the season, a 24-6 triumph at Pope John Paul II.
