Delco stars romp in Carpenter Cup opener
Kevin Mohollen and Nick DiGregorio each had two hits and a pair of RBIs Sunday as the Delaware County all-stars beat the Philadelphia Public League, 9-1, in the first round of the Carpenter Cup baseball tournament at Ashburn Field in South Philadelphia.

Mohollen, a Strath Haven senior, went 2 for 4 and scored a run. DiGregorio, a Ridley junior, finished 2 for 3 with a run.
In other Carpenter Cup action:
Boyertown junior Dalton Hughes delivered the game-winning sacrifice fly in the seventh inning in Berks County's 2-1 win over the Suburban One League American and Continental stars.
Austin Madeja, also a junior from Boyertown, led off for Berks County and had one of the team's five hits.
