Unionville's Wu earns state singles gold
John Wu found himself in an unfamiliar position Saturday afternoon. After rolling past his first three opponents in straight sets, the Unionville senior dropped the first set of the Class AAA state boys' tennis final at the Hershey Racquet Club.

After rolling past his first three opponents in straight sets, the Unionville senior dropped the first set of the Class AAA state boys' tennis final at the Hershey Racquet Club.
But Wu shook off the early deficit and rallied to defeat Central Catholic's Adam Blasinsky, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, and take the title.
Abington's Dan Tornea and Thomas Christian finished in fourth place in the AAA doubles.
