Jay Harris

Jay Harris

Downingtown East, Sr.,

WR/DB, 5-11, 175

What he has done. Harris made a big splash last season, turning 53 catches into 717 yards and 11 touchdowns. Against neighboring Downingtown West in the Battle of the Brandywine, he caught four TD passes to spark a 44-14 romp at Kottmeyer Stadium. Senior quarterback Kyle Lauletta and Harris, an Inquirer all-Southeastern Pennsylvania second-team selection last year, make up one of the area's best pass-catch duos. Also dangerous as a kick returner, Harris chose Michigan State over Penn State, Temple, and Old Dominion. His best 40-yard clocking is 4.45 seconds.

What he says. "I feel like we have a lot of potential. If we play as a team, we can go as far as we want to."

What his coach says. "He had a great offseason. We expect big things from him." - Mike Matta
