After giving up a game-tying two-run homer to PJP's Meg Kugler in the bottom of the seventh inning, Norristown regrouped and loaded the bases on a fielder's choice and two singles.

Gina Pellechio drew a bases-loaded walk to plate Monica Levins with the winning run, Jackie D'Innocenzo singled in Sammi Kidd, and Sammy Kampmeier scored on an error on Stefanie Dinolfi's ground ball. The Eagles got a three-run double from Taylor Copestick to take a 4-0 first-inning lead.

In other nonleague action, Neshaminy's Lauren Quense struck out 14 in a four-hit shutout and also went 2 for 3 at the plate as the Redskins posted a 4-0 win at West Windsor-Plainsboro South (N.J.).

Catholic. Winning pitcher Erica Ragazzone homered twice and drove in four runs for St. Hubert in a 17-0 win at Hallahan. Jess Mishinski (three RBIs) and Gabby DeLeo also homered.

Archbishop Prendergast's 6-0 win at Archbishop Wood was a four-hit shutout by Jenna Fehrle, backed by Sarah Yoos' homer.

Lansdale Catholic also won by shutout, 4-0, over visiting Conwell-Egan as Mary Cate Scott scattered three hits and Bridey Harkins drove in two runs.

Cardinal O'Hara's Jen Cauley and winning pitcher Molly Rafferty drove in two runs each in an 8-1 win over visiting Neumann-Goretti.

Inter-Ac. Penn Charter's 14-3 win over visiting Episcopal Academy included four runs scored and two stolen bases by winning pitcher Kayla Quinn, who struck out six.

Bicentennial. Bristol bunched half of its six hits in a two-run fifth inning and clipped visiting Christopher Dock, 2-1. Rose Scalzo doubled and scored on Kaley Crohe's single to tie the game, and Mary Wallick singled in Crohe for the deciding run.

Catholic Academies. Nazareth Academy got a hit and two stolen bases from Melanie Kalesse, and five solid innings from pitcher Taylor Lichtenhahn (10 strikeouts) during a 5-1 victory over visiting Mount St. Joseph.

Villa Joseph Marie's Julianna Abel dominated visiting Sacred Heart, 12-0, with her one-hit pitching, while Rachel Arndt and Liz Lawler combined for five RBIs.

St. Basil's Michelle Paulosky went 4 for 5 with three runs scored, and Erin Scanlon and Sam Gibson added two RBIs apiece to an 8-5 win at Gwynedd-Mercy.

Suburban One. Wissahickon, which got three-hit pitching from Katie Ziegler, scored in the bottom of the seventh to beat visiting Upper Moreland, 4-3.

Friends Schools. Isabel Nardi homered in three consecutive at-bats and piled up 10 RBIs as Friends' Central battered visiting Westtown, 31-7.

Shipley pitcher Sara Touey helped herself by poking a pair of singles and knocking in three runs to help defeat host Germantown Friends, 8-3.

Public. Central's Sarah Rosenberg pitched a 15-0 two-hit shutout at Philadelphia Academy Charter.

Sam Pellicciotti belted a grand slam and helped Roxborough outslug host Ben Franklin, 24-18.

Lacrosse

Academy Park sophomore Gabby Lee scored a career-high four goals, including three before halftime, as the Knights dealt host Penn Wood a 9-7 setback in Del-Val League play.

Central. Harriton, ranked No. 4 in the state by phillylacrosse.com, scored seven goals in each half of a 14-7 home win over No. 7 Conestoga. Ally McLaughlin scored four goals, and Jessica Schwab added three goals and three assists.

Inter-Ac. Ali Singly's six-goal game inspired Episcopal Academy's offense in an 11-7 win at Penn Charter.

Agnes Irwin's first win was a 19-12 verdict against visiting Baldwin. Campbell Crochiere netted eight goals.

Brooke Kiley notched five goals and three assists - all before halftime - as Germantown Academy held off visiting Springside, 17-15.

Pioneer Athletic. Maddie Ward's seven goals and two assists steered Spring-Ford past visiting Phoenixville, 19-7.
