Fri. Pa. girls' roundup: Wolfgang double lifts C.B. West

Kathy Zanolini scored the winning run for the Bucks and Jen Toland knocked in a pair of runs. Maggie Miller posted the win with a complete game and six strikeouts.

In other nonleague action, Mary Cate Scott fanned six and walked none in six innings as Lansdale Catholic topped visiting Pennridge, 2-0. Alicia Kradzinski gave the Crusaders their first run with an RBI single in the second inning.

Megan Greisser went 3 for 3 and Villa Maria edged Upper Merion, 6-5. Anna Forcina recorded seven putouts in left field.

Taylor Church recorded three hits and a pair of RBIs to lift Penncrest over host Interboro, 5-2.

Lauren Scarpato scored from second base on an error in the third inning and Springfield (Delco) held on to down visiting Cardinal O'Hara, 1-0. Sam Esque pitched a shutout, struck out six and walked none. Molly Rafferty had a complete game for O'Hara, with two strikeouts and a pair of walks.

Ches-Mont. Claudia Boggi slammed a home run in the bottom of the ninth as Bishop Shanahan topped West Chester Henderson, 1-0. Kate Poppe struck out 15 and yielded two hits as she pitched a complete game. The righty has not allowed a run in all four of her starts.

Four batters had a pair of hits as host West Chester East downed Coatesville, 5-2. Amy Atwell, Sarah McDade, Stacey Coral, Allie Viguers each had two hits and an RBI.

Sam Carlino went 2 for 4 and scored twice as Unionville turned away host Oxford, 4-2. Haley Miller went 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Central. Maura Cesanek went 3 for 3 with a pair of runs scored to lead host Haverford High over Conestoga, 6-2. Kelsey Moran added a three-run homer in the fifth to give the Fords a 6-0 lead.

Pioneer. Kristian DeLuzio pitched a complete-game shutout to secure Spring-Ford's 1-0 win at Pottstown. The senior struck out three and walked two.

Lacrosse

Tara Ebert made a crucial defensive stop to secure Perkiomen Valley's 9-8 win over visiting Pioneer Athletic Conference foe Owen J. Roberts.

Becky Gilligan led the Vikings with four goals. Morgan Stone scored four times for the Wildcats.

Nonleague. Katie O'Donnell and Kate Fay provided all the offense host West Chester Henderson needed to nip Spring-Ford, 11-10. O'Donnell scored seven goals and Fay scored four times and added four assists.

Kiersten Daly and Erin Gallagher scored four goals each to help Lower Merion hold off visiting Agnes Irwin, 11-10. Gabby Constantine recorded four saves to seal the win.

M.C. Curran scored five goals, Kristen Hinckley scored four goals, and Episcopal Academy rocked visiting Hill School, 19-4. Hinckley added three assists.
