The 5-foot-4 senior led the Firebirds to a 15-9 record and the Public League Class AA girls' basketball championship last season, just the third season in the school's five-year history.

In her first season, the Firebirds posted a 1-11 mark. They were 3-12 in her second. In addition to winning the Public League title this season, High School of the Future scored the school's first District 12 playoff victory and reached the PIAA playoffs before being eliminated in a play-in game.

"She was our team captain and an outstanding leader," said her coach, Roger Jackson. "She sacrificed her scoring to lead the team on the floor."

A first-team all-Public League selection, Williams finished her high school career with 887 points. She averaged 18 points in her final season.
