Pa. Girls: Chambers' 3 HRs lead Parkway West to win

Tanisha Chambers put on a hitting clinic for Parkway West's softball team on Monday. Chambers hit three home runs as the Hoyas outslugged visiting Roxborough, 27-21, in a Public League game. Her home runs, including a grand slam, produced eight runs.

 Central. In a battle between two top pitchers, Springfield (Delco) and Sam Esque beat Radnor and Christy Von Pusch, 7-1.

Freshman Nicole Clayton made her first varsity start a good one for Garnet Valley in a 13-0 win at Lower Merion. Clayton pitched a five-inning two-hitter, striking out seven.

Kim Gagnon pitched a no-hitter and went 4 for 4 as Conestoga rolled over host Ridley, 12-1.

Marple Newtown got a one-hitter from Steph Reaves in a 17-1 win over visiting Harriton.

Ches-Mont. Rachel Gadbow had three hits and drove in three runs for host West Chester Henderson in a 10-0 win over Great Valley.

Kate Poppe got the win on the mound and went 3 for 4 at the plate to lift Bishop Shanahan over Kennett, 10-0.

Sydney Robey allowed just one hit for host Downingtown West in its 9-0 win over Octorara.

Kalyn Butt allowed three hits over seven innings to pitch host Oxford past Downingtown East, 2-0.

Pioneer Athletic. Tori Marcavage allowed just one hit and struck out nine for Perkiomen Valley in its 10-0 win over visiting Phoenixville.

Lacrosse

Stephanie Finley scored six goals, including the 200th of her career, in leading Sacred Heart to a 12-8, nonleague win at Shipley. The James Madison-bound senior has 205 career goals.
