Frankford 35, Germantown 0: Michael McGroarty accounted for 210 yards and four TDs, rushing 10-42 for two and passing 5-for-9 for 168 and two others -- one apiece to Savoy Martin (2-82) and Aaron Allison (2-65). Marquan Scott had a pick. G-town's only bright light was Cedric Wright's 56-yard completion to Myles "Showtime" Brooker.

Lincoln 21, Bartram 6: Richard Schaffer and Marquise McFarland ran for 4-yard TDs and the latter returned a fumble 25 yards for the clinching score. Miguel Sanchez passed 8-for-16 for 92 yards and Kevin Stover pilfered a pair. For Bartram, Hashai Byfield ran 16 times for 96 yards, Adrese Perkins kept for the TD and Elijah Clark notched an interception.

PUBLIC AAAA SILVER

Southern 6, Mastbaum 0: Ken Johnson ran six yards for a second quarter TD and was joined in the interception column by Daniel Wallace and Donavan Wilson. Mastbaum's Lawrence Clark passed 8-for-21 for 95 yards. Tyrin Stone-Davis had two snags for 53 yards.

PUBLIC AAA

Boys' Latin 26, King 20: King forced a tie with 1:57 left on Curtis Witherspoon's 4-yard run and conversion pass to Quadir Lewis. BL drove 81 yards in eight plays and Ben Coulibaly (24-179) ran 32 yards for his third TD at 0:30. Terron Fuller added an interception and a rushing TD to four catches for 43 yards. King's Curtis Witherspoon accounted for 138 yards of offense along with a pick and seven stops.

West Phila. 36, Franklin 28 (2 ot): Robert Andrews showed variety in the extra sessions, catching a 10-yard pass from Larry Richardson in the first and running two yards in the second. Richardson went 6-for-15 for 105 yards and two TDs (other to Eric Leslie) and ran for one, also. Jesse Thomas recovered a blocked punt for a score. Chris Brantley, Yusef Jackson and Joseph Southern had interceptions. Franklin's Crusito Cruz rushed 24 times for 157 yards and two TDs, including one beyond regulation.

PUBLIC AAA

Gratz 34, Roxborough 20: Khalil Brown passed 5-for-12 for 204 yards and three TDs, with the longest (90 yards) going to Daryll Johnson. Derrick Steele ran for a 67-yard score and Jamil Morgan, listed at 6-1, 345, rumbled for a 3-yard TD (along with a conversion). Daqwan Freeman (two) and Terence Roseboro combined for three picks. Roxborough built a 14-0 lead on Nick Butts' 30-yard pass to Rasheed Bailey and Vince Bennett's 15-yard interception return. Adrian Johnson-Pope returned a fumble from Roxborough's end zone to Gratz' 3 before being tackled.

CATHOLIC AAA

O'Hara 45, Carroll 7: Jay Watkins turned eight scrimmage touches into 182 yards and three TDs. He rushed seven times for 124 yards and two, caught a 58-yard pass from Ryan Laughlin for the third and had an interception. Laughlin went 12-for-22 for 227 and three scores and ran for one of his own. Frosh Steve Weyler went 6-for-6 on PATs and hammered a 41-yard field goal. Dan Parke scored for Carroll on a pass from Jalal Timmons.

INTER-AC LEAGUE

Haverford School 28, Penn Charter 17: Jim Chakey threw for two scores and ran for another while Goran Murray returned a punt half the field for a tally.
