Mustangs players surpassed 100 yards in rushing, receiving and passing, and Dobbins routed Martin Luther King, 42-8, at 29th Street Stadium.

Terrance Stafford rushed 21 times for 120 yards and scored on a 3-yard run, Jamil Williams caught six passes for 111 yards, and Kevin Butler completed nine of 18 passes for 155 yards. Stafford also scored on defense, taking a fumble 45 yards for a touchdown.

Aaron Walker opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 3-yard run and added a 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, giving the Mustangs (5-1, 4-0) a 15-0 lead over the Golden Cougars (2-3, 2-2).

Washington 39, Germantown 0 - Daquan Cooper caught a pair of scoring passes from Tony Scott and English Peay rushed for two scores as the Eagles (5-1, 5-0) tripped the visiting Bears (1-5, 1-3) in a Class AAAA Gold Division game.

Cooper opened the scoring by catching a 35-yard touchdown pass from Smith. Peay followed with touchdown runs of 30 and 25 yards to give Washington an 18-0 first-quarter lead. Cooper added a 31-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

Communications Tech 14, Bok 0 - Rolando Ranson lugged the ball 36 times and gained 210 yards to lead the Phoenix (4-1, 4-1) against the Wildcats (4-2, 3-2) in a Class AA game at 10th & Bigler.

Ranson scored the first touchdown of the game in the second quarter, giving Communications Tech an 8-0 lead. James Brunson provided some insurance when he returned a punt 63 yards for a score in the final quarter.

Bok gave up as many points as it had given up in three previous victories against the Phoenix.

Catholic League

Bishop McDevitt gave West Catholic all it could handle in the first half, but the Burrs pulled away in the second half for a comfortable 35-14 Class AA victory at Cheltenham.

Joshua Mathis found the end zone after an 11-yard run and gave West (4-2, 1-0) the lead for good, 12-7, in the third quarter. Mathis later scored on a 37-yard run and finished the game with 99 yards rushing against the Lancers (3-3, 1-1).

Dave Williams added 95 yards rushing and scored on runs of 6 and 61 yards for the Burrs.

Central League

Matt Craig and Dontae Allen each scored a pair of touchdowns and the ground game of Springfield (Delaware County) (4-2, 4-1) was unstoppable in a 56-14 win at Penncrest (1-5, 1-4).

Craig, who scored on runs of 13 and 26 yards, finished with 115 yards on 11 carries for the Cougars.

Allen got all 52 of his yards on touchdown runs of 36 and 16 yards.

Penncrest fell to 1-5, 1-4.

Suburban One League

Neshaminy quarterback Charlie Marterella threw for 220 yards and a touchdown and led the Redskins past visiting Council Rock North, 35-8.

Marterella completed 15 of 26 passes and hit Dwight Williams with a 74-yard scoring pass in the first quarter to give Neshaminy (6-0, 3-0) a 14-0 lead against the Indians (0-6, 0-3). Williams caught six passes for 121 yards.

Council Rock South 35, Bensalem 7 - Mark Damirgian scored three times in the first half and propelled the Golden Hawks (6-0, 3-0) past the visiting Owls (1-5, 1-2).

With his team ahead, 7-0, Damirgian scored on a 4-yard run in the first quarter and added scoring runs of 12 and 7 runs to give South a 27-0 halftime lead.

Souderton 42, Hatboro-Horsham 7 - The Indians' Clint Passarella contributed both on offense and defense in the Continental Conference win at Hatboro-Horsham.

Passarella opened the scoring for Souderton (4-2, 3-0) by catching a 25-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.

After the Hatters (2-4, 0-3) tied the game on Travis Young's 20-yard touchdown run, Passarella stepped in front of a Hatboro-Horsham pass and took it 30 yards for another score.

The Indians (4-2, 3-0) then took the lead for good, getting touchdowns from four other players to finish the rout.

North Penn 38, Central Bucks West 21 - At War Memorial Field in Doylestown, Brandon Mercer made the most of his five carries, scoring three touchdowns and racing for 95 yards.

The Knights (5-1, 3-0) answered the bell after Bill Bell put Central Bucks West on top with a 27-yard touchdown pass from Ward Udinski in the first quarter.

They then scored 38 straight points on six touchdowns and a field goal to put the game away.

Three of those touchdowns came on runs of 30, 52 and 20 yards by Mercer.

Craig Needhammer led the Knights in total yardage, gaining 129 yards on 21 carries.

The Bucks (4-2, 1-2), got a pair of touchdown catches from Bell and 135 yards on 18 carries from Rashaad Williams.

Central Bucks East 7, Pennridge 0 - Justyn White's 36-yard run in the second quarter was enough for the host Patriots (3-3, 2-1) to prevail. White is a 5-10, 205-pound senior. It was the first shutout of the season for the Patriots. The Rams dropped to 3-3, 0-2.

Upper Dublin 33, Plymouth Whitemarsh 27 - Anthony Williams scored from 5 yards out late in the fourth quarter to give the host Cardinals (5-1, 3-0) a two-score lead and they held on for the American Conference win. Both Williams and Jino Park scored a pair of touchdowns for the Cardinals. The Colonials fell to 3-3, 2-1.

Del-Val League

Demetre Carter sprinted 35 and 15 yards for touchdowns and sparked Academy Park (5-1, 1-0) to a 36-0 win over visiting Chichester (0-6, 0-1).

Ches-Mont League

Anthony Fithian threw for a pair of touchdowns and Frank O'Donnell scored on runs of 6 and 5 yards as West Chester Rustin (5-1, 3-0) handled host Great Valley (1-5, 1-2), 39-7.

Pioneer Athletic

Ryan Brumfield rushed for a season-high 290 yards and paced Owen J. Roberts to a 55-20 win over host Upper Perkiomen.

Brumfield now has 1,340 yards rushing for the season and 7,096 for his career, placing him ninth on the all-time Pennsylvania rushing list. He is 317 yards away from West Catholic's Curtis Brinkley who is the all-time Southeastern Pennsylvania rushing leader with 7,413 yards and sixth on the state list.

Brumfield scored on runs of 57, 55 and 49 yards and was joined by Ryan Megay who rushed for 164 yards and scored on a 1-yard blast.

Bicentennial League

Clay Ewell carried the ball 34 times, gained 147 yards and scored on a 1-yard blast as Springfield (Montgomery County) downed visiting Calvary Christian, 14-0.

Doug Bauer gave the Spartans (4-1, 3-1) a 6-0 lead in the opening quarter when he scored on a 4-yard run. Ewell's touchdown came in the final quarter against the Cougars (4-2, 3-2).

Mid-Atlantic Prep

Lee Marvel scored on runs of 11 and 47 yards to lead Hill School (3-1) to a 21-0 win at Peddie School (N.J.).

Marvel finished with 44 yards on the ground and played well at linebacker in leading the Blues to their third win in four games.

Adam Regensburg got Hill School off to a good start by catching a 17-yard touchdown pass from Ian Sholl in the second quarter. It was one of his three catches for 48 yards. He added 44 yards on the ground.

Nonleague

Rajih Harris raced 15 yards for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in the third quarter and sparked Central to a 19-12 win over host Imhotep Charter.

Harris' touchdown gave the Lancers (4-2) a 19-6 lead over the Panthers (5-2) and their third straight win.

Ravone Cornish raced 10 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter and Richard Drayton caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Dante Cobb in the third quarter to account for the Lancers' other scores.

Episcopal Academy 40, Wissahickon 14 - Brian Ruditys gained 194 yards on 21 carries and scored four touchdowns, leading the host Churchmen (2-2) to the easy win.

Ruditys scored on runs of 27, 70 and 6 yards to give the Churchmen a 20-0 lead.

In the second half, he added a 3-yard touchdown run before the Churchmen started wholesale substitutions.

Quarterback Taylor Wright completed six of 11 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown for the Churchmen.
