Today, we talk with Ben Franklin High running back Marquis White:

Who's your biggest role model?

Cal running back Jahvid Best. He's one of, if not the, best running backs in all of college football and right now he's where I want to be.

What's your favorite professional sports team?

The St. Louis Rams. They were one of the best teams in Madden . I started playing with them and I've liked them ever since.

What's your favorite movie?

"The Hangover"

Who's your favorite rapper?

Eminem

What's your favorite television show?

"The Game" on BET

What's the most difficult part of practice?

When it's over. I want to be out there all day.

What's the most memorable game you've ever played in?

My second varsity game against Communications Tech. Our starter had injured his hand so I came in during the second quarter. At the end of the game I had six carries for 130 or so yards.

Who's your funniest teammate?

Safety Malik Johnson. He's always finding something to joke about.

What's your pregame meal?

Turkey, bacon and egg sandwich and an energy drink.

What's the best advice a coach has given you?

Keep going. Never quit.
