Aston White scored a major decision at 106 pounds on Saturday afternoon to clinch Owen J. Roberts' 30-24 win over Downingtown East in the District 1 Class AAA final at Upper Dublin.

The senior's 11-0 win put the Wildcats ahead by 15 points with a pair of bouts remaining. It also halted a late Downingtown East rally as the Cougars captured four of the five bouts between 170 and heavyweight.

Colby Frank, who scored a key win in Friday's semifinal, put Owen J. out front early with a 1-minute pin at 126 in the match's opening bout.

Demetrie D'Orsaneo added a major decision at 138, Peter Fratantoni captured a decision at 145, Adam Mosher inched out a close decision at 152, and Kyle Shronk had a first-period pin at 160.

Matt Bartolotta (220 pounds) and Sean Snodgrass keyed Downingtown East's late charge with consecutive decisions.

In the third-place match, Jordan Wertz's first-period pin at 1:08 gave Boyertown a cushion en route to holding off Upper Perkiomen, 35-31.

Boyertown captured four straight bouts between 152 and 182 pounds, including Cody Richmond's 5-1 decision at 170. Eddie Kriczky opened the match with a technical fall at 126 pounds.

District 1 Class AA. Ben No and Andre DeRocini pieced together back-to-back pins and Lower Moreland held on to edge Bishop McDevitt, 31-28.

No's pin at 220 pounds and Rocini's at heavyweight put the Lions ahead 12 points with three bouts remaining. But McDevitt was unable to land a fall and won the last three bouts by decision.

Dmitiri Bourlako opened the match with a 9-4 decision at 126 pounds and John Chung added a major decision at 152. McDevitt was led by Anthony Gordon's pin at 132 and Tim Butwin's fall to win at 145.

In the semifinals, Owen Barnes, Ivan Medina and Anthony Gordon recorded falls in the first three bouts to help McDevitt drop New Hope-Solebury, 45-31.

Barnes needed just 1:19 to win at 120 pounds. Jamal Nock added a 4-2 decision at 220 pounds and Chris Davis pinned in 2:39.

Steven Dinh-Vo recorded a pin at 113 pounds as Lower Moreland captured the last five bouts en route to topping Springfield (Montco), 50-22. George Zisis grabbed a decision at 195, Ben No rolled to a pin at 220, Andrew DeRocini added a fall at 106, and Jimmy McGuigan needed 46 seconds to pin at 106.
