Downingtown East took down Unionville, 45-21, in a battle of unbeatens on Friday. The Cougars kept the Indians off the board in the second half.

The first quarter did not disappoint as each team scored 14 points. Bryce Lauletta scored on a keeper and Brassir Stocker hauled in a 35-yard TD pass to make it 14-0 Cougars. JT Hower and Jack Adams responded with receiving and rushing scores, respectively, to tie things up.

Lauletta and Unionville's Joe Zubillaga exchanged scores, but the Cougars made a field goal before the half.

East (8-0) went ahead by 10 on Jack Riley's 3-yard TD catch. The Cougars put the game away in the fourth as Stocker and Garvey Jonassaint scored touchdowns.

East takes on Coatesville next week, while Unionville (7-1) plays at Sun Valley.

Jack Colyar accounted for three touchdowns as Archbishop Wood cruised past Archbishop Carroll, 49-7, in a Catholic League Red Division matchup.

Colyar scored on a quarterback sneak and then completed a flea flicker with a 47-yard TD pass to Ryan Loughlin, making it 14-0 after the first quarter.

Nasir Peoples followed with consecutive touchdowns, an 18-yard run and a 70-yard punt return. Loughlin added a 25-yard TD catch to make it 35-0 at the half.

Wood has a bye next week before playing La Salle on Oct. 27.

North Penn stayed perfect in Suburban One Continental Conference action with a 47-20 win over Souderton. The Knights caused four turnovers and made four field goals to pick up their sixth straight victory.

The Knights took control from the start as Justis Henley recorded an interception on Souderton's opening drive. Jon Haynes caught a 69-yard TD pass, Henley sprinted 50 yards for a score, and Shamar Edwards returned an interception 55 yards to make it 21-0.

KJ Cartwright scored from 10 yards out, Kelly Macnamara made three field goals, and Edwards caught a 31-yard TD pass to make it 44-6 at the half.

North Penn plays William Tennent next week.

Garnet Valley remained unbeaten in the Central League with a 43-0 rout of Harriton.

The Jaguars never looked back after starting the game with a safety. Ryan Hamby threw three touchdown passes in the first half to make it 29-0.

Springfield (Delco) used a big first half to defeat Marple Newtown, 42-19.

Frank Durham Jr. caught a touchdown pass and Ja'Den McKenzie scored from six yards out to make it 13-0 Cougars after one quarter. After a Marple Newtown field goal, Philip Shovlin scored two rushing touchdowns to make it 27-3 at the half.

Rahsul Faison added four more rushing touchdowns to his already impressive resume as Pottsgrove handled Phoenixville, 53-7. Faison entered the game with 1,706 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on the season.

Hatboro-Horsham received multiple touchdowns from its special teams unit in a 49-28 triumph over Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Central Bucks South held off Central Bucks West, 21-20, thanks to a blocked extra point.

Ryan Watson's 1-yard TD run with 1:23 remaining gave the Titans a 21-14 edge. The Bucks drove down the field and scored on Jack Reichwein's 2-yard run.

Taseer Jones' 69-yard touchdown run with five minutes left gave Cardinal O'Hara a 20-13 win over Conwell-Egan. The Eagles had two chances to try and tie the game but came up empty.

Upper Dublin head coach Bret Stover picked up his 100th career victory in the Cardinals' 27-8 triumph over Central. Malik Bootman ran for two scores and Lucas Roselli capped the win with a leaping catch in the end zone.

Jaleel Burton recorded two of Olney's six rushing touchdowns in a 38-0 win over Fels.

Ramil Dyer ran for two touchdowns as Dobbins rolled past Edison, 60-0.
