Highlights from New Jersey sports on Monday.

The Cherry Hill East boys' soccer team rallied from a 2-0 deficit on Thursday and scored five unanswered goals to defeat Paul VI, 5-2. Kevin Lochbihler started the comeback in the final minute of the first half on an assist by Tim Welsch.

The second half started strong for Cherry Hill East as Mark Basehore tied the match before Jacob Fowler scored to take the lead. Both goals came in the opening five minutes of the second half. Eddie Grant chipped in two goals.

Nick Hazel scored four goals for in Florence's 6-5 win against visiting New Egypt. Michael Gomez added a pair of goals in the victory. Chase Sempervive scored a hat trick for New Egypt in the loss while Connor McKenzie and Riley Hughes each tallied once. Florence goalkeeper Antonio Carnivale made 12 saves in the win.

Clark Conaway, Michael Merchel and Christos Yiatrou tallied a goal apiece and goalkeeper John Braun made 10 saves  Holy Cross shut out Riverside, 3-0.

Seneca got goals from Zach Brida and Eric Pierre in the second half to earn a 2-0 home win against Cherokee.

Brett Guetens scored a pair of goals as Washington Township topped visiting Timber Creek, 4-0. Jason Arakelian and Chad Yates notched a goal each.

Field Hockey

Goalkeeper Camille Pottillo made 17 saves in Camden Catholic's 3-0 loss to visiting Eastern in Olympic conference action. Jessica Maute scored twice and Kara Heck chipped in a goal for Eastern.

McKenna Mealey scored for Gloucester Tech and Kortni Jackson tallied for visiting Paulsboro as the two teams fought to a 1-1 draw.

Gab Bodine, Lindsey Florio and Alex Kulinski each found the back of the cage for Cherokee as the Chiefs defeated Olympic conference rival Seneca, 3-2, on the road. Kaitlyn Birnbohm-Kaminski and Linden Webb each tallied a goal for Seneca.

Girls’ Soccer

Seneca's Jessica Gould scored off a corner kick from Sarah Weiner to open the scoring and Kelsey Wallace scored an insurance goal as Seneca topped Cherokee, 2-0, on the road.

Cherry Hill East got a goal each from Sydney Cicha and Lily Stanwyck to defeat Olympic Conference foe Paul VI, 2-1. Alyssa Carfagno had the lone tally for Paul VI. Cherry Hill East goalkeeper Sam Bourne made 10 saves.

Hailey Gutowski scored a hat trick to lift Cinnaminson to a 4-1 victory against visiting Northern Burlington.
