Week 4 is here.

It's a different kind of week in South Jersey football, with several games Thursday night because of Yom Kippur on Friday and Saturday.

Here's a look at 12 games of note:

Thursday

No. 7 Rancocas Valley (3-0) at Washington Township (0-3): The Red Devils are rolling, sitting first in S.J. 5 in power points (tied with Lenape, a team they'll meet Oct. 6) after scoring 47, 48, and 38 points in the first three games. Junior Dan Kondras caught a pair of TD passes from junior Bryce Mangene in last weekend's win over Trenton. Washington Twp. is looking for its first win under new coach Lamont Robinson. The Minutemen have been competitive, losing by 19-6 to No. 11 Shawnee last weekend.

Northern Burlington (1-3) at No. 18 Moorestown (3-0): Running back Amir Stevenson (391 yards, 4 TDs) leads NBC. Moorestown is looking to go 3-0 for the first time since 2012. The Quakers are coming off a big win over rival Highland, with junior Josh Pearcy catching a pair of TD passes from junior Brian McMonagle. Moorestown's defense has been stout, too, with LBs Pearcy, Will Conaty, Jack Ginley, and Steve Weissman leading the way.

Friday

No. 9 Delsea (1-2) at No. 13 Holy Spirit (2-1):  The Crusaders are 2-1 on the field, having forfeited a Week 2 win over No. 18 Cedar Creek for use of an ineligible player. Delsea ran for 401 yards last weekend in a 49-7 win over Paul VI as Aidan Borguet, Jake Nwasu, and Tymir Kizzee each scored two TDs. Holy Spirit's lone loss was to No. 7 St. Joseph in a game the Spartans led at halftime. QB Josh Zamot, who just picked up a scholarship offer from Stony Brook, and RB Elijah Gray are explosive playmakers for Holy Spirit. Last year, Holy Spirit beat Delsea, 14-7, in Franklinville.

Gloucester Catholic (2-0) at Middle Township (2-2): The Rams are trying to get to 3-0 for the first time since 2008. They are 8-4 in their last 12 after losing their previous 25. GC has been led by sophomore tailback Dashaun Harris, who gained 162 yards with two TDs in a 34-0 win over Clayton and scored game-winner in OT in a 29-22 victory over New Egypt (which beat Palmyra last weekend) in the season opener. Middle Twp. has been up and down but the Panthers have a win over Mainland and put 32 on the board in a victory over Steinert, as Karl Giulian scored two TDs in the opener.

Absegami (1-2) at No. 20 Eastern (3-0): The visiting Braves have a top RB in junior Jayden Johnson. Eastern is trying to get to 4-0 for the first time since the Tommy Flacco-led 2013 team started 6-0. Junior RB/LB Manny Azuonwu is a player to watch for the Vikings.

Sterling (2-0) at Deptford (1-2): The visiting Silver Knights have played some serious defense, allowing just six points all season. They are coming off a bye following an impressive 21-0 win over Cinnaminson. Senior QB C.J. Barrett completed four passes in that game and three of them went for touchdowns. Deptford has moved the football, scoring 34 in a loss to Penns Grove in the opener. The Spartans have a top back in senior Darius Dowd. Deptford has some momentum as the Spartans got their first win last week by beating defending WJFL Diamond Division champ Pennsville.

Pleasantville (2-0) at Schalick (2-0): Under coach Chris Sacco, the visiting Greyhounds have been one of the surprises of the early season. They beat a solid Buena team in OT in the opener and racked up 57 points in a victory over Riverside. Pleasantville is pursuing its first winning season since 2003. Schalick is coming off a bye. The Cougars lit up the scoreboard in the first two weeks, outscoring foes by 93-0 behind senior RB Tyreese Snipe.

Collinswood (1-1) at Buena (2-1): The visiting Panthers are coming off a bye. In their last game, they scored 57 in a win over Delran, the program's most points since the 1948 season opener. Junior RB Michael Jenkins scored three TDs in that game for the Panthers. Buena has recovered nicely from an OT loss to Pleasantville in the opener with wins over Oakcrest and Middle Twp. Sean Rice and Byron Spellman each scored two TDs in the win over Middle.

Florence (1-1) at Holy Cross (2-1): The visiting Flashes are coming off a bye following a 44-point performance in a win over Clayton as senior Mark Pacini ran for three TDs. Florence coach Joe Frappolli has 298 career wins, second on South Jersey's all-time list. Holy Cross bounced back from a tough loss to Haddonfield with an impressive 22-12 win over Cinnaminson last weekend as Tim Petrucelli and Matt Verrico ran for TDs and Miles Cook caught a scoring pass from Jeff Undercuffler.

Saturday

Salem (2-1) at No. 23 Woodbury (2-1): This crossover game could have a major bearing on seeding in SJ 1 as both of these squads are angling for high berths in that tournament. Salem is coming off an impressive 20-18 win over red-hot Penns Grove as junior QB Ja'Yon Mejias scored the tying TD with 0:16 on the clock and senior Zaire Jones ran for the winning two-point conversion. After three weeks, Salem has scored 74 and allowed 73 and the Rams' games have been decided by 1, 2, and 2 points. Woodbury has rallied from a tough loss to Paulsboro in the opener by scoring 83 points in the last two games, wins over Pennsville and Haddon Heights. Sophomore QB Andre Parker is a player to watch for the Thundering Herd.

Camden (2-1) at No. 17 Cedar Creek (3-0): The visiting Panthers are coming off a 30-16 win over Seneca as Corey Palmer caught a TD pass for the third straight game. Camden has played well against Cedar Creek in the past, winning by 31-12 in the regular season in 2016 and 48-0 in the playoffs in 2013. Both games were at Farnham Park. This will be Camden's first visit to Egg Harbor City. Cedar Creek is 2-1 on the field, getting a forfeit win over No. 9 Delsea. The Pirates beat a tough Ocean City team, 22-13, last weekend as sophomore QB Louis Barrios ran for two TDs and threw a scoring pass to junior George Ramp.

No. 2 Millville (3-0) at No. 21 Williamstown (2-1): The host Braves bounced back from a tough loss to No. 8 St. Augustine with a 35-14 win over Hammonton as junior Wade Inge Jr. scored three TDs. Millville rallied to beat St. Augustine, 25-23, last weekend behind senior all-purpose Clayton Scott and senior QB E.J. Nichols.
