Monday's South Jersey roundup: Cumberland boys beat Clayton in high-scoring affair

Zaire Moore scored 20 points Monday to lead the Cumberland boys’ basketball team to a 103-99 win against visiting Clayton in Tri-County Conference action. De’chanelle Loatman added 16 points while Jamere Muschette chipped in 15. Max Cruz led all scorers with 27 points for Clayton in the loss.

DaJuan Jackson-Edwards posted 21 points as Paulsboro edged Audubon, 51-48, on the road. Jackson-Edwards also grabbed 10 rebounds. Dustin Bellis had 19 points to lead the hosts.

Craig Turner paced Cinnaminson with 20 points in its 46-32 home win against Pennsauken Tech. JP Rickus finished with 15 points in the win for Cinnaminson.

Anthony Mitchell and Kyree Myers combined for 45 points as Glassboro defeated visiting Freedom Prep Charter, 77-42.

Luke Varallo posted 20 points, including four three-pointers, to lead Ocean City to a 67-56 win against visiting Wildwood.

Girls’ Basketball

Lauren Lewis dropped 19 points for Rancocas Valley as the Red Devils held off Cinnaminson, 49-40. Fiona Flynn tallied 16 points and Maddie Ogden added 13 in the loss for Cinnaminson.

Meghan Connelly’s 14-point performance helped visiting Audubon to a 47-38 victory. Katirah Howell led all scorers with 15 points.

Savannah Holt posted 10 points as Ocean City topped Wildwood at home. The Red Raiders got very balanced scoring with eight players scoring at least four points.

Kendall Keyes paced Lenape with 19 points and Shannon Mulroy added 16 as the Indians edged Cherry Hill East, 49-33, on the road.

Hannah Cooksey scored 13 points as Pennsville held off host Salem, 36-32.
