So. Jersey football playoff predictions
So many games, so few words, so we'll pick all the postseason football matchups from here on out. One thing is for sure – the top seeds in all the Groups with the exception of Non-Public Group 3, likely earn the favorite's role.
So here is every selection as we try to make up for a less than impressive regular season of predictions.
SJ Group 4 Friday
(8) Eastern (5-3) at (1) Cherokee (8-0), 7. We're not very original, picking the same score from two weeks ago. Pick: Cherokee 36, Eastern 17
(5) Toms River North (7-1) at (4) Williamstown (8-0), 7. Pick: Williamstown 21, Toms River North 20.
(6) Washington Township (7-1) at (3) Toms River East (8-0), 7. Pick: Washington Township 21, Toms River East 19.
Saturday
7) Shawnee (5-3) vs. (2) Egg Harbor Township (8-0) (at St. Augustine) 1. Pick: EHT 24, Shawnee 21.
SJ Group 3 Friday
(8) Winslow Township (4-4) at (1) Hammonton (7-1), 7. No single player is more dangerous than Winslow Township quarterback Bill Belton but Hammonton's running game should present the Eagles with plenty of problems. Pick: Hammonton 30, Winslow Township 22.
(7) Moorestown (5-3) at (2) Timber Creek (6-2), 7. Pick: Timber Creek 35, Moorestown 27.
Saturday
(5) Seneca (6-2) at (4) Burlington Township (7-2), 1. Pick: Seneca 15, Burlington Township 14.
(6) Pemberton (5-3) at (3) Lacey (6-2), 1. Pick: Lacey 21, Pemberton 14.

(6) Willingboro (5-3) at (3) Haddonfield (7-1), 7. First-year coach Reggie Lawrence has lifted the Willingboro program, but beating a Haddonfield team that has lost only to West Deptford will be a challenging assignment. Pick: Haddonfield 22, Willingboro 18.
(8) Woodrow Wilson (4-4) at (1) Delsea (8-0), 7. Pick: Delsea 45, Woodrow Wilson 7.
(5) Bridgeton (6-3) at (4) Cinnaminson (6-2), 7. Pick: Cinnaminson 15, Bridgeton 14.
