South Jersey Saturday roundup

Woodbury defeated visiting Haddon Heights, 25-19, Saturday in Memorial Division play in the West Jersey Football League. Jaquan Solomon had 22 rushes for 229 yards for the Thundering Herd. Woodbury's Andre Parker rushed 119 yards with 14 carries.

Boys' Soccer

Burlington Township won at Holy Cross, 3-2, in Burlington County League play.

The Falcons led by three at the half and were able to hold off the hosts.

Justin Giordano, Tyler Lipsack, and Sukhdip Singh scored for Burlington Township. Connor D'Ilio made eight saves in net.

Olympic Conference. Host Bishop Eustace defeated Paul VI, 6-2. Jacob Ayoub led the scoring for the Crusaders with three goals.

Nonleague. Diego Valle was the only scorer in Eastern's win 1-0 at West Deptford.

Girls' Soccer

Northern Burlington defeated host Bordentown in overtime, 2-1, in Burlington County League play. Mackenzie Santucci scored both goals for the Greyhounds.

Nonleague. Camden Catholic won at Doane Academy, 5-0. Danielle Rooney scored two goals for the Irish, while Maddie Bednarek, Christina Laudisio, and Hannah Romani added goals.

Host Maple Shade defeated Gloucester, 7-0. Carly Dombrowski scored three for the Wildcats and Michelle Guapo, Elora Marvasi, Brionna Olesky, and Miranda Wyatt each added a goal.

Williamstown defeated visiting Cherokee, 2-1. Natalie Pantalone and Angela Rosenberg each scored in the second half to overcome a one-goal deficit after the first.

McKenna Dalfonso made six saves in Clearview's win 3-1 win over visiting Cherry Hill East. Elizabeth Bonomo, Victoria Caira, and Jessica Cirone scored for the Pioneers.

Field Hockey

Carla Kientz was the only scorer in Delsea's 2-0 nonleague win over visiting Lenape. Hailey Abbott made two saves to earn the shutout for the Crusaders.

Elsewhere in nonleague action:

Host Cherry Hill East won, 2-1, in overtime over Williamstown. Sarah Allen scored for the Cougars.

Julianna Smith made 16 saves in host Clearview's 4-1 win over Egg Harbor Township. Claire Eisenhart, Rachel Johnson, Gigi McAlpin, and Chandler McFeeley scored for the Pioneers.
