The seventh-seeded hosts scored a 5-4 victory over No. 10 Manchester Township in eight innings.
Capers hit a double to score Kasey Jones from first base with two outs in the bottom of the eighth.
Buena's Brittany Gilliano hit a bases-clearing triple in the previous inning to tie the score.
Sam Monfredo guided the winners with nine strikeouts in eight innings.

Antonia Horay went 3 for 4 and scored two runs and Serena Pearson went 2 for 4 as host No. 5 Overbrook rolled past No. 9 Haddonfield, 9-1.

Angie Dunphy struck out five batters in seven innings as host No. 4 Rancocas Valley defeated No. 13 Clearview, 6-0.
Samantha Waldman and Ally St. Jean each registered three hits and scored three runs in host No. 11 Cherokee's 13-2 win over No. 6 Toms River North.

Eliza Sweet struck out six batters in six innings as host No. 4 Seneca defeated Toms River South, 5-1.
