By upsetting The Inquirer's fifth-ranked team, the Lady Rams defeated a top-5 ranked team for the first time in 29 years.

"I've been here since 1991, so this is even new to me," Puderbach said.

The Colonial Conference win almost slipped away, as Sterling made a strong push in the final quarter and eventually took the lead.

But with less than two minutes left, Anndrea Lloyd drilled a three-pointer that gave the visitors the lead for good. Lloyd finished with 12 points.

It was Overbrook's first win over Sterling since joining the conference.

In other Colonial Conference play:

Ashley Reynolds paced Haddon Heights to a 51-40 victory over visiting Woodbury by scoring 25 points and adding eight rebounds and four blocks.

MacKell Schultes scored 26 points and pulled down 10 boards as host Gateway rolled by Lindenwold, 54-33.

Burlington County League. Dana Sheply scored 15 points to lead Maple Shade to a 40-32 win at Medford Tech. Alexis Ashman and Alicea Medina each scored 10 points.

Madison Oakerson made three three-point baskets on her way to a team-leading 18 points for Northern Burlington in a 46-43 win over host Delran.

Olympic Conference. Kirsten Flournoy scored 22 points to lead No. 10 Timber Creek to a 74-73 overtime victory at Washington Township.

Fatimah Williams scored 15 points and added six rebounds and four assists.

Shawnee's duo of Jennifer Byrne and Jenna Hoffner led the hosts to a 57-54 win over Cherry Hill East. Byrne posted 16 points, four rebound and five steals. Hoffner added 12 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Tri-County Conference. Mackenzie McCracken scored 25 points and Tracey Young grabbed 20 rebounds as Wildwood beat host Pitman, 48-46.

Delsea's Glory Morton scored a team-high 16 points in a 49-33 win at Glassboro.

Paige Caldwell made a pair of three-point buckets among her 23 points for Woodstown in a 49-14 win at Penns Grove.

Friends Schools League. Charlotte Stern made three three-pointers en route to a team-high 24 points for Moorestown Friends in a 51-33 win at Germantown Friends.
