S. Jersey Girls: Rancocas Valley cruises in field hockey quarters

Isabella Cacace scored twice and had two assists to lead top-seeded host Rancocas Valley to a 6-1 win over No. 9 Cherry Hill East on Thursday in a Central Jersey Group 4 field hockey quarterfinal.

Nora Strittmatter scored and dished out an assist. Kayla Jabkowski, Jocelyn Lawrence, and Taryn Pendergast each added a goal.

S.J. Group 4 quarterfinal. Carly Kreitzer and Colleen McAninley each scored twice and assisted on a goal to pace No. 3 Washington Township to an 8-1 rout of sixth-seeded visitor Egg Harbor Township. Julia Patrone and Iris Schuck both had a goal and three assists. Jenna Patrone and Jessica Hatch added goals.

Nonleague. Jordyn Achey scored in overtime to carry Williamstown over host Sterling, 3-2. Allie Trimble scored twice. Michelle Dardaris had an assist. Lauren O'Keefe and Olivia Sims scored for Sterling.

Maria Farnan scored off an assist from Rialee Allen to lead Ocean City past visiting Camden Catholic, 1-0.

Cross-Country

Rachel Vick raced home first in the Tri-County Conference championship, finishing the 3.1-mile course at Cumberland in 18 minutes, 41 seconds. Her win helped Kingsway capture the Tri-County Conference title.

Cape-Atlantic championship. Ocean City won the team title in Millville behind strong running from Alexa Weber (19:50, second), Emma Bergman (20:08, fourth), Michaela Baker (20:53, fifth), and Jenna Monaghan (21:04, seventh). Mainland's Alyssa Aldridge took first place in 18:08.

Soccer

Chelsea Fadio finished what she started.

After getting Audubon on board in the first, the senior scored in overtime to give the Green Wave a 2-1 nonleague win at Deptford.

Camyrn Tirado scored off an assist from Brianna Jankauskas to tie it for Deptford.

In another nonleague match, Morgan Morocco netted a goal and assisted on another in Holy Cross' 3-0 shutout at Rancocas Valley. Angie Carroll and Erin McCue also scored for the Lancers. Isabella Kuzzy and Erica Wallace each had an assist. Cassandra Skelton made seven saves.

Charlotte Elwell, Nina Nelson-Bechtold, and Genie Santarpio each scored in Moorestown's 3-0 win over visiting Clearview.

Tri-County Royal. Mary Kate Ulmer scored twice in Williamstown's 4-0 shutout of ninth-ranked visitor Hammonton. Mackenzie Myers and Angela Rosenberger also scored. Ashley Engler recorded three assists. Gabrielle Krouse made three saves.

Burlington County. Miranda Wyatt received a pass from Carly Dombrowski and netted a second-half goal to send Maple Shade past visiting Florence, 1-0. Sam Peitrow made five saves.

Olympic. Alyssa Carfagno scored twice as Paul VI edged Bishop Eustace, 3-2, at home. Gabrielle Marra also scored. Megan Reardigan and Ava Albergo had assists. Rylee Milligan registered six saves.
