S.J. girls: Washington Township's Shannon fires a one-hitter

Softball OLYMPIC CONFERENCE Washington Township 11, Cherokee 0: Lauren Shannon struck out eight in a one-hitter as the Minutemaids won on the road. Jessica Hughes was 4 for 4 with a double and a home run. She had an RBI and scored four runs.

Bishop Eustace 6, Seneca 0: Izzy Kelley struck out nine and walked four in a complete game to earn the home win. Izzy Dewes went 2 for 3 with two RBI and a run scored for the Crusaders.

Timber Creek 18, Winslow Township 3: Tara Eller went 3 for 3 with four runs scored and a RBI as Timber Creek earned the edge at home. Kelsey Stewart finished 3 for 4, scored four runs, and hit a three-run home run.

COLONIAL CONFERENCE

West Deptford 3, Audubon 2: Brianna Fisher, Ciara Girouard, Jessica Linquist, Amanda Patch, and Mackenzie Ponto all doubled for the host Eagles.CAPE-ATLANTIC LEAGUE

Atlantic County Tech 4, Bridgeton 3: Samantha Kemmerer tossed a four-hitter, struck out 12, and gave up one earned run. She also hit a three-run home run for the host Red Hawks.

Millville 8, Vineland 3: Kaila Smith hit a two-run home run, tying Millville's career home run record with 13. Alexa Calareso earned the win and struck out 13 at home. Kady Mae Makos finished 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs.

TRI-COUNTY CONFERENCE

Cumberland 10, Deptford 1: Jodi Cook drove in two runs and tripled as the Colts won on the road. Alyssa Donato finished with three RBIs and a run scored.

Hammonton 5, GCIT 1: Maddie Emmons went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, and struck out two in a three-hit performance to earn the win at home.BURLINGTON COUNTY LEAGUE

Moorestown 3, Burlington Township 1: Gabby O'Byrne drove in Asha Bezwada with the go-ahead run in the fifth inning.

Woodstown 16, Gateway 8: Abigail Evans scored a game-high six goals, and Caroline Woodside added on five more in the road win.

COLONIAL CONFERENCE

West Deptford 14, Gloucester Catholic 2: Cara Spector led the host Eagles' nine scorers with four goals. Samantha Budd and Lauren Henry each contributed two scores and a pair of assists.

BURLNGTON COUNTY LEAGUE

Delran 22, Maple Shade 10: Arianna Quinlan netted eight goals and Caitlyn Cauley scored seven as the visiting Bears cruised to victory.
