It was only about 20 minutes into the first half, but that goal was enough to win the game.

Topolski and Kenie Wright scored before halftime to give Lenape, ranked No. 1 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, a 2-1 win at No. 4 Washington Township in an Olympic American girls' soccer game Thursday afternoon.

Tri-County Royal. Niki Malancone and Gabrielle Masciocchi each scored twice when No. 5 Williamstown, won, 5-0, at Kingsway.

Olympic National. Lauren Bogardus scored twice in Seneca's 4-1 triumph against visiting Paul VI.

Field Hockey

Natalie Burns scored for Paul VI, just 20 seconds after Seneca tied the score, to give the Eagles a 3-2 home victory in an Olympic National matchup.

Goalie Kelly Murphy recorded 13 saves in the win.

Tri-County Diamond. Gillian Nardelli and Jordana Ambros scored in Cumberland's 2-0 win over visiting Woodstown, giving the Colts their first division title in nine years.

Boys' Soccer

Michael Olejnik scored the double-overtime winner as No. 2 Cherokee won, 1-0, at No. 4 Eastern in an Olympic American matchup.

Colonial Liberty. Zach Thomas scored a hat trick in Audubon's 4-0 victory at Overbrook, breaking the Green Wave's season scoring record with 24 goals.

Tri-County Classic. Tyler Lunsford scored the double-overtime winner to push Schalick past visiting Pitman, 2-1. Collin Cardona added a goal and an assist in the win.

Tri-County Royal. Justin Curtin scored to give Williamstown a 1-0 win against visiting Kingsway.

Cross-Country

Sterling's Sean MacPherson crossed the finish line in 15 minutes, 8 seconds to capture the Colonial Conference boys' title at the Pennypacker Park 3.1-mile course in Haddonfield.

Briana Gess of Haddonfield ran a time of 17:58 to win the girls' race.

Burlington County. Northern Burlington's Beepul Bharti ran the best boys' time, 16:01, on the 3.1-mile course at the Burlington County Championships at New Egypt.

Atlantic County. Vincent DelConte placed first with a time of 14:58 on the 3.1-mile course at Hammonton Lake Park, leading Egg Harbor Township to the Atlantic County boys' championship with 51 points.

Alyssa Aldridge placed first at 17:08 to send Mainland to the girls' title with 43 points.
