But Barrett, a senior center midfielder for the Cinnaminson boys' soccer team, saved his biggest goal-scoring performance for one of his team's biggest games.

Barrett recorded his first career hat trick Thursday to lead the host Pirates to a 4-0 win over Moorestown, a Burlington County League Liberty Division rival and the No. 7-ranked team in South Jersey by The Inquirer.

"Absolutely, they're a neighboring town," said coach Jason Miele, on whether Moorestown was a team his side looked forward to playing. "They're definitely one of the biggest roadblocks."

Steve Kalbach was the other goal-scorer. Andrew Weist dished out two assists, and Mike Deal made four saves for the shutout.

Burlington Freedom. Dwane Tracy scored a second-half goal, Jacob Powell stopped six shots for a shutout, and Medford Tech edged Riverside at home, 1-0.

Guilherme Decarvalho deposited all four goals for Westampton Tech, which defeated visiting Florence, 4-1.

Burlington Patriot. Mat Shaddow scored his second goal on a penalty kick to provide the winner in Holy Cross' 4-3 victory at Trenton Catholic.

Tri-County Royal. Vince DeMatteo had a first-half goal for visiting Williamstown, Quinn Grossman scored a second-half equalizer for No. 2 Clearview, and the teams played to a 1-1 draw through two overtimes. Marty Cangelosi had a game-high eight saves for Williamstown.

Zach Piro broke a scoreless tie with five minutes left to give Highland a 1-0 win at Hammonton. Scott Kueny had the assist. John Rhode turned away seven shots for the shutout.

Tri-County Diamond. Tyler Bascone headed in a Zack Jankauskus serve to the far post in overtime in Deptford's 2-1 triumph at Glassboro. Jankauskus had the other goal for the Spartans.

Geoff Schaefer scored the winner in the 75th minute as Woodstown won at Cumberland, 1-0. Tom Brady made five saves in the shutout.

Tri-County Classic. Trey Thompson recorded 18 saves for Gloucester, which tied Clayton at home, 1-1. Matt Miller scored for the Clippers, and James Bonilla connected for Gloucester.

Cape-Atlantic National. Joe Fala recorded the game-winner with a minute and a half left in Middle Township's 4-3 win against visiting Cape May Tech. Hawks goalie Robert Edmunds made 35 saves in a losing effort.

Nonleague. Luis Rivadeneira knocked in a rebound in the first half, and John Weeast scored on a header in the second half as No. 2 Rancocas Valley blanked Kingsway, 2-0, on the road.

Jordan Pulice netted two goals to lead Palmyra to a 4-0 win over visiting Pennsauken. Nick Tait had a goal and an assist. James Brett had five saves in the shutout.

Vinny Masitti scored twice for New Egypt, which rode three first-half goals to beat host Pemberton, 3-0. Nick Sample scored one goal and assisted on another.
