Behind five solid innings in which the senior allowed only one run and struck out nine, the Crusaders defeated Egg Harbor Township, 12-1, at Washington Township.

Nick Browne went 2 for 3 with a double, driving in a pair of runs and scoring one. Mike Krusinski had three hits and three RBIs.

In other Diamond Classic action:

Anthony Cruz belted a second-inning grand slam to help Hammonton defeat Maple Shade, 18-2. Justin Smith earned the win, striking out four over four innings, and went 3 for 4 at the plate with four RBIs.

Pennsville had four players with multiple hits in a 10-6 win over Cinnaminson at Overbrook. Josh Shimp had two hits for Pennsville, including a two-run home run. Mitch Walker added a two-run shot and earned the win on the mound, pitching six innings and striking out four.

Bordentown Tournament. Bordentown's Austin Chaszar and Marc Gronostajski hit back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning to secure a 5-2 victory over visiting Monsignor Donovan in the tournament finals.

Chaszar's blast was a two-run shot, and Gronostajski's solo home run was part of a two-hit, two-RBI day for the junior.

Lee Ware Tournament. Ethan Blasko went 2 for 5 with four RBIs and one run for host Timber Creek, as the Chargers edged Woodstown, 12-9, in the tournament final.

Cape-Atlantic National. Joey Clifford threw a shutout, leading Ocean City to a 10-0 home win over Wildwood Catholic.

The sophomore struck out five and did not issue a walk. At the plate, Clifford went 2 for 3 with a two-run single in the first.

Olympic American. Colin Fabio put on a show at the plate, helping Eastern outslug host Lenape in a 16-11 win. The junior went 3 for 5 with two triples, a home run, and two RBIs.

Nonleague. Wildwood's Devon Bradshar lined a double to right-center field for the 100th hit of his high school career during a 5-1 win over visiting Overbrook. Brendan Bead picked up the victory, striking out eight and walking one.

Lacrosse

Twelve players scored for St. Augustine in a 15-4 rout of visiting Mainland in a Cape-Atlantic American contest.

Michael Bonerbo, Alec Iula, and William McMenamin each connected twice for the Hermits. Chris Sheldon scored all four Mainland goals.

Nonleague. Kyle Borbi netted a pair of goals and had two assists to help host Shawnee secure an 8-2 victory over Haddonfield.
