S. Jersey Girls: Fri. S.J. girls: Cherry Hill West triumphs



Cherry Hill West 5, Haddon Heights 2: Sierra Machinski and Taylor Thompson each went 2 for 3 with an RBI for Cherry Hill West at the Camden County Tournament at Eastern. Machinski had Cherry Hill West's only extra-base hit, a double. Jamie Robertson earned the win and struck out nine.

Gloucester Catholic 12, Cherry Hill East 4: Marissa Miller gave up two earned runs over four innings to earn the win for Gloucester Catholic at Eastern. The Rams will play Cherry Hill West for the tournament championship at 4 p.m. Saturday.


Gateway 14, Paulsboro 4: Kennedy Whalen and Kristin Freas-Papa each had three hits and scored four times for host Gateway. Whalen had Gateway's two extra-base hits, a double and triple.


Florence 5, Northern Burlington 0: Lacey Olaff pitched an eight-hit shutout and had four hits with two RBIs at the plate to lead Florence to the road win. Tatum Marshall picked up a double for the Flashes.

New Egypt 10, Burlington City 0: Faith Weber knocked in four runs with a pair of doubles in New Egypt's win at Burlington City. Jenna Rodriguez also doubled for New Egypt.

Collingswood 16, Pennsauken 6: Alexis Doran doubled and earned the win for host Collingswood. Jocelyn Nieves raked a double for the victors.

Bridgeton 17, Camden Academy Charter 0: Khyasia Floyd picked up two triples to lead Bridgeton to the home win.

Delran 10, Medford Tech 0: Reenie Cascio tripled for host Delran. Nicole DiLizzio, Becky Howard, and Shayna Wiggins each doubled for Delran.

St. Joseph 10, Audubon 1: Taylor Sirolli slugged two doubles in St. Joseph's home win. Carly Testa added a home run for St. Joseph.



Rancocas Valley 18, Delran 11: McKayla Montgomery paced Rancocas Valley with six goals at Delran. Peyton Sventy added four goals, and Danielle Garfole chipped in three. Mackenzie Groark led Delran with four.


Cherry Hill East 12, Seneca 10: Taylor Patriz and Megan Thompson each scored four goals in Cherry Hill East's win at Seneca. For Seneca, Megan Drum, Julia Ferrante, and Erin Kersetter each had two goals, and Sam Scapello scored three times.


Mainland 15, Sterling 11: Kailey Stangle had three goals and five assists to help Mainland earn a win at Sterling. Riley Dolan and Vanessa Pagilei each had four goals to lead Mainland, and Ashley Albright had three. Sterling's Erin Green tallied four times, and Emily Falana, Brie Manko, and Kristen Oswald had two goals each.
