Fri. S.J. girls and boys: Martin sparks Timber Creek

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

OLYMPIC PATRIOT

Timber Creek 55, Cherry Hill West 39: Eleven of Brittany Martin's 22 points came in the third quarter of the Chargers' home triumph. The junior point guard added 10 rebounds and five assists. Amanda Riiff contributed 12 points on four three-pointers. Cherry Hill West's leading scorer was Sasha Williams with 17 points.

NONLEAGUE

Palmyra 49, Riverside 34: The host Panthers boasted three double-digit scorers: Sierra Forman (17), Amber Orfe (12), and Mariah Best (10). Best also contributed 14 rebounds and four blocks. Forman nabbed six steals. Damaris King totaled eight points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Riverside's Lyndsay Micucci scored 12 points.

Triton 43, Pennsauken Tech 35: Kelsey Funk's game-high 14 points helped propel the visiting Mustangs. Gina Ayusa added 13 points. For Pennsauken Tech, Georgiann Randall led the way with 12 points, and Sierra Patterson added 11.

Holy Cross 45, Delran 31: Alliya Butts scored seven of her 14 points in the second quarter to help the Lancers to a home victory. The senior point guard went 8 for 10 from the free-throw line and pulled down eight rebounds. Holy Cross outscored Delran, 12-4, in that second period. Nicole Bayer paced Delran with 10 points.

BOYS' BASKETBALL

COLONIAL CONFERENCE

Sterling 57, Overbrook 42: An 18-9 advantage in the fourth quarter helped the Silver Knights win this road contest. Devon Tuten led all players with 19 points. Tommy Sheehan and Jarod Mullica scored 10 each. Malik Hickson led Overbrook with 16.

TRI-COUNTY CLASSIC

Gloucester 80, Clayton 78: Vinny DiGiacomo hit a layup with 11 seconds left to help Gloucester top visiting Clayton. DiGiacomo finished with 16 points. Tony Bultron led Gloucester with 30 points and scored 10 of them in the first quarter. Clayton's leading scorer was Elijah Rehm with 14 points.

NONLEAGUE

Bishop Eustace 66, Seneca 46: Brandon Cazan led a long list of Eustace scorers with 20 points. Ten Crusaders scored. Jake Limpert led Seneca with 11.

Eastern 84, Delsea 80: Big scoring games from Matt Klinewski and Alex Barr helped the Vikings edge visiting Delsea. Klinewski scored 35 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Barr scored 27 and dished out 10 assists. Delsea was led in scoring by Keith Braxton (26) and Ronnie Russell (23).

Medford Tech 71, Westampton Tech 62: The Jaguars were led by Dennis Tunstall's 24 points as they defended their home floor. Shakwel Vincent added 17 points. Westampton Tech's Lamar Morgan led all players with 30.
