Tues. S.J. boys: Lawry, Kingsway oust Lacey

In December, Ray Lawry helped lead Kingsway to an upset, playoff win at Lacey Township on the gridiron. On Tuesday, Lawry and host Kingsway ended ninth-seeded Lacey Township's season on the hardwood with a 50-38 win in an opening-round South Jersey Group 3 matchup.
Lawry, who ran for 229 yards and three touchdowns the last time he saw Lacey Township, scored 15 points and had seven rebounds and five assists for Kingsway, the eighth seed.
In other South Jersey Group 3 play:
Moorestown 63, Ocean City 44 - Seth Jones scored nine of his 24 points in the fourth quarter for sixth-seeded Moorestown to put away the 11th seed, visiting Ocean City.
Camden 79, Camden County Tech 31 - Tavaris Headen racked up 20 of his 30 points in the first quarter and the second seed, Camden, blew out 15th-seeded Camden County Tech.
Burlington Township 43, Seneca 37 - Kenny Davis and Jalen Ferguson each scored 12 points for third-seeded Burlington Township, which survived a scare from the 14th seed.
Hammonton 66, Westampton Tech 35 - Christian Mortellite scored 10 of his 22 points in the first quarter for top-seeded Hammonton in a victory over the visiting 16th seed, Westampton Tech.
Delsea 53, Oakcrest 43 - Kwame Morton finished with 16 points, six boards, and three blocks for fifth-seeded Delsea, which beat visiting Oakcrest, the 12th seed.
South Jersey Group 1
Wildwood 46, Woodbury 44 - Francis Christian collected 19 points, 10 rebounds, and six steals, and ninth-seeded Wildwood won at Woodbury, the eighth seed.
Schalick 75, Salem 49 - Melvin Allen paced host and sixth seed, Schalick, with 28 points in a win against the 11 seed, Salem.
Haddon Township 105, Clayton 77 - Trey Thatcher nailed 11 threes and finished with a career-best 43 points for the host and fourth seed, Haddon Township, against 13th-seeded Clayton.
Pitman 87, Palmyra 45 - Tim Delaney scored 17 points and second-seeded Pitman took care of the 15 seed, visiting Palmyra.
South Jersey Non-Public A
Camden Catholic 46, Monsignor Donovan 30 - Kyle Green scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half as the fifth seed, Camden Catholic, took care of 12th-seeded Monsignor Donovan at home.
Paul VI 66, Gloucester Catholic 35 - Ivan Robinson had 12 points and five assists for host and fourth seed, Paul VI, against the 13th seed, Gloucester Catholic.
St. Augustine 70, St. John Vianney 43 - Michael Greenman knocked down four threes and finished with 22 points for St. Augustine, the third seed, in a home win against the 14th seed, St. John Vianney.
Holy Spirit 57, Red Bank Catholic 35 - Eighth-seeded Holy Spirit blew out the visiting ninth seed, Red Bank Catholic, behind Leon Daniels' 15 points and five rebounds.
