Behind Jake Heminway's 29 points and 13 rebounds, Cape May Tech held on for a 60-58 win against Gateway in a nonleague boys' basketball game Friday.

Cape May Tech trailed, 32-28, at halftime before rallying to take a 41-40 lead into the fourth quarter.

Conor Mulville finished with 13 points and eight steals, and Alinzo Love had 11 points, nine rebounds, and five steals for Cape May Tech.

In other nonleague play:

Marcus Reed scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half, and Woodstown earned a 60-52 win at Camden Academy Charter.

Cody Morrone led Washington Township with 18 points in a 62-45 win at Deptford.

Jahmiere Van Klein put up 14 points for host Bordentown, which beat Moorestown Friends, 54-36.

Tri-State Showcase. Shaun Wilson had 31 points and six rebounds to lift Willingboro over Camden, 61-57, at Bishop Eustace.

Tri-County Diamond. Austin Regan had 20 points in Gloucester Catholic's 49-40 victory at Glassboro.

Burlington County Freedom. Connor Lindsey netted 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter for New Egypt, which picked up a 70-54 win at Palmyra.

Cape-Atlantic American. Paul Moore compiled 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists in Holy Spirit's 63-45 victory against visiting Egg Harbor Township.

 

Girls' Basketball

Egg Harbor Township's Selena Santiago picked up her 1,000th point in a 56-32 Cape-Atlantic American loss against visiting Holy Spirit.

Santiago, who needed seven points to reach the milestone, hit a pullup jumper with 2 minutes, 30 seconds left in the first half to get it. She finished with 13 points.

Tri-County Diamond. Becky Pund had 26 points in Gloucester Catholic's 65-49 victory at Glassboro.

Colonial. Shyniece Vessels put up 29 points for Paulsboro in a 67-31 win at Camden County Tech.

Nonleague. Camden's Domonique Owens had 10 points and 18 rebounds in a 43-25 win against visiting Pennsauken Tech.

Jada Atchinson scored 22 points for Burlington City, which won at Medford Tech, 57-19.

Overbrook's Joanne Bodanza had 12 points and five assists in a 39-16 win against visiting Cumberland.

Damaje Anderson scored 14 points in host Riverside's 52-35 win against Clayton.

 

Wrestling

Heavyweight Sean Hanson earned a pin in 2:19 to help Audubon to a 36-32 nonleague win at Lenape.

In other nonleague action, Gloucester's Anthony Gallagher (106) needed only 1:12 to pick up a pin in a 46-27 victory against visiting Deptford.
