Late foul shots lift Paul VI girls'

Morgan Camardo-Harris made two foul shots with less than five seconds remaining to lift Paul VI to a 45-43 victory over visiting Camden Catholic on Saturday in an Olympic Conference National Division girls' basketball game.

Camardo-Harris finished with nine points. Sierra Taylor led the Irish with 11 points.

Paul VI was down by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter, but were lifted by Kiana Ye, who scored nine of her 12 points in the final frame.

Riaa Redd led Paul VI with 13 points.

South Jersey Invitational. Kennedy Johnson registered 22 points and 14 boards for Sacred Heart as the host Lions topped Clearview, 48-28, in a Sweet 16 game.

Mandy Buirch added 15 points for Sacred Heart.

Clearview was led by Kennedi Thompson's 10 points.

Nonleague. Danielle and Dionna Tunstall combined to score 24 points to lead BCIT Westampton to a 47-26 win at Florence.

Dionna Tunstall led the charge with 13 points, and Danielle Tunstall added 11. BCIT Westampton outscored Florence, 34-13, in the second half.

Woodbury erased an eight-point halftime deficit, as the Thundering Herd grabbed a 37-28 road victory over Moorestown Friends. Danesha Triplett led Woodbury with 14 points. Taylor Graham added 13. Sarah Henig scored a team-high eight points for Moorestown Friends.

Taylor Christina and Amanda Schmidt made four three-pointers apiece as Delsea won at Woodstown, 51-33. Schmidt scored 18 points, and Christina scored 16. Woodstown's leading scorer was Dallas Baldwin, who tallied 13 points.

Holly Forst scored nine of her 12 points in the second half as St. Basil earned a home win over Cherry Hill East, 51-35.

The Panthers outscored Cherry Hill East, 27-11, in the first half. The Cougars' leading scorer was Aliyah Godwin with 16 points.

Taylor Walker scored a team-high 22 points as Williamstown earned a road victory over Gloucester, 62-47. The junior point guard scored 10 of her 22 points in the first quarter. Haley Parks contributed 15 points and seven rebounds. Gloucester's Madison McClintock led all scorers with 30 points.

Boys' Basketball

Nonleague. Lucian Brownlee scored a career-high 21 points for Haddon Heights as the Garnets grabbed a 50-29 home win over Lower Cape May. Haddon Heights outscored the Tigers, 26-14, in the second half. Dennis Olson led Lower Cape May with 11 points.

Jose Valentin registered a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds as Wildwood defeated visiting Camden County Tech, 57-50.

Dave Flanders led the host Warriors with 16 points. Francis Christian scored three points, but also contributed 10 assists, eight rebounds, four steals, and three blocks. The Warriors held Camden County Tech to just three points in the second quarter.

Delsea outscored Woodstown 16-5 in the first quarter and never looked back as the Crusaders earned a 66-45 road victory over Woodstown.

Keith Braxton tallied 10 points and eight rebounds. On the Woodstown side, Asher Kaithern led the scoresheet with 10 points.

Haddon Township held Moorestown Friends to a total of 18 points over the first three quarters as the Hawks cruised to a 80-31 home win over Moorestown Friends.

Senior forward Tyler Easterday hit five three-pointers, scored a game-high 21 points, and hauled down 10 rebounds. Junior point guard Casey Boyle registered 13 points and dished out 10 assists.

Gloucester Catholic outscored Highland, 29-17, in the second half to lift the Rams to a 51-37 home court victory.

Mike Shawaryn led the Rams with 17 points. Highland's leading scorer was Naquan Council with 10 points.

Dave Budd scored 10 of his 21 points in the first quarter as Triton topped Cumberland, 58-46, to pick up a road victory. Joe Ordille led Cumberland with 17 points.

Burlington County Freedom. Phil Cunha and Jordan Walker each tallied 12 points for Holy Cross as the Lancers registered a 60-42 home win over Florence.

Brandon Rowe added 10 points and five steals, and Dillon Keegan hit three three-point shots for nine points.
