Josh McShane's leaping grab at the fence in the top of the 10th kept the score tied, and Audubon teammate Trevor Tassi responded by singling in the winning run in the bottom of the inning as the second-seeded Green Wave outlasted No. 3 seed Pennsville, 4-3, Tuesday in a South Jersey Group 1 baseball semifinal.

McShane robbed Josh Shimp of a potential home run to give Audubon (20-6) new life. In the home half of the 10th, Andrew Schorr worked a leadoff walk and stole second. After an intentional walk and two strikeouts, Schorr beat the throw home on Tassi's hit.

Schorr pitched 22/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win, with Boomer Wickersham and Keith Michalski each contributing two hits and one RBI.

The Green Wave will host No. 4 seed Haddon Township for the sectional championship on Friday. Pat Burns stroked a two-run double and Brendon Anderson drew a bases-loaded walk in a five-run sixth inning that enabled the Hawks to take out No. 16 seed Maple Shade, 9-3.

South Jersey Group 2. Jake Danner kept No. 4 seed Haddonfield off the scoreboard despite yielding eight hits, and Zach Funk homered and drove in three runs to carry top-seeded GCIT to a 6-0 semifinal win.

Second-seeded Buena will meet the Cheetahs for the title, thanks to a 6-2 win over No. 3 seed Sterling. Anthony Lopez (2 for 2, 3 RBIs) ripped a bases-loaded double in the second as the Chiefs ran out to a 5-0 lead.

On the other side of the bracket, winning pitcher Justin Smith belted a two-run homer in batting 3 for 3 with five RBIs, as top-seeded Hammonton hammered No. 12 seed Central Regional, 12-6. A.J. South Jersey Group 4. Kevin McGarry singled and homered in driving in two runs, and Pat Rodier and Bobby Isopi combined for five hits, two RBIs, and three runs scored as 12th-seeded Lenape rallied late to take down No. 9 seed Williamstown, 10-6.

Second-seeded Cherokee will host the Indians in Friday's title game, thanks to a 5-1 win over No. 3 seed Toms River East. Ryan Krupa laced a two-run single and Ryan Kelley went 2 for 3 and scored once in support of Jim Rossi, who tossed a four-hitter.

South Jersey Non-Public A. Joe Gatto's two-run double in the first inning put 11th-seeded St. Augustine ahead to stay in a 9-1 quarterfinal romp at No. 3 seed Red Bank Catholic.

The Hermits' next challenge will come Friday at seventh-seeded Christian Brothers Academy, which ousted No. 15 seed Camden Catholic, 11-8. Pete Galiano went 3 for 4, knocked in two runs, and scored three times for the Irish.

Sixth-inning solo home runs by Nick Browne and Keith Wallace enabled eighth-seeded Bishop Eustace to slip past No. 16 seed Monsignor Donovan, 3-2, in a quarterfinal.
