Thurs. S.J. boys' roundup: Pennsauken tops Haddonfield

Manny Cortez (12 points) and Julian Diaz (10) also reached double figures for the Indians, who carried a 41-32 lead into the final period. Mike Lacatena had 8 of his 18 points in Haddonfield's 27-20 fourth-quarter rally.

In other nonleague action:

Senior captain Dave Summerton drained three three-point shots in scoring a season-high 16, guiding host Clearview past Glassboro, 65-59.

Cedric Elleby put all of his skills on display, totaling 25 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks and four steals to lead 10th-ranked Delsea over visiting Penns Grove, 56-51. The Red Devils kept it close behind 21 points from Ge'Shawn Davis.

Marquis Goodman (29 points) and Rodney Williams (22) took turns torching the Cherokee defense, and Cherry Hill West shook off a slow start to pull away to a 65-56 road win.

Senior guard Joseph Taylor had a career-high 37 points along with six steals and four assists in host Woodrow Wilson's 87-68 victory over Salem.

Tyree Brown's 43-point outburst was more than enough for host Highland to dispatch GCIT, 83-46.

Brad Fagan found his scoring touch early, scoring 12 of his 18 points in the first half, and Shannon Johnson connected on four of five shots from beyond the arc to contribute 17 points in Kingsway's 63-50 triumph over visiting Gloucester Catholic. The Rams fell despite 24 points by Mike Shawaryn.

Avery Walker (16 points) hit the tying and go-ahead free throws with 28 seconds left, and host Oakcrest survived a late miss by Cape May Tech to escape with a 47-46 win.

Tabu Gaither led Lenape with 18 points and Arkemus Baskerville (14 points) sank seven foul shots in the final quarter to finish off a 63-52 win at Timber Creek. The Chargers' Dominique Reid had a game-high 19 points.

John Adryan (20 points) scored 13 in a pivotal 19-8 third-quarter run, and Lloyd Smith (22) scored 12 in the final period to help host Holy Cross close out its 64-54 victory over Rancocas Valley. The Red Devils received 23 points from Tariq Jett.
