Kennedy Chukwuocha dominated the low post with 25 points as surging Medford Tech handed seventh-ranked Cherry Hill East its second consecutive loss, 58-55, marking one of several boys' basketball upsets in Saturday's Jeff Coney Tournament at Rancocas Valley.
Kris Shands added 13 points and Elijah Cain knocked down a pair of long-range shots in scoring 12 for the 13-3 Jaguars, who have won five in a row and nine of their last 10. Jake Silpe made three three-pointers to lead East (12-4) with 12 points.
Despite 20 points by Carson Puriefoy, fourth-ranked Bishop Eustace (13-3) also went down to defeat, 62-52, against Trenton Catholic. The Iron Mikes' Malachi Richardson made five threes and all six of his free throws in scoring 23.

Second-ranked Eastern snapped a tie with a 49-26 spree over the second and third quarters, pulling away from Cinnaminson, 76-57. Matt Klinewski's 17 points led four Vikings scorers in double figures.
Ron Curry buried three shots from beyond the arc in scoring 20 points and Matt Risse netted 19 to power top-ranked Paul VI over Atlantic Christian, 77-28.
The trio of Larry Jones, Paul Moore and Junior Saintel accounted for 43 points in 10th-ranked Holy Spirit's 56-49 triumph over Ewing.
T-John Casiello's game-high 15 points helped Wildwood Catholic extend its winning streak to 11, as the Crusaders crushed Cherokee, 50-29.
Camden came away with a 65-47 victory over Moorestown, behind the scoring of Ajwan Leaming (19 points) and Tavaris Headen (17).
Marques Little combined with Dave Mikanda to score 21 for Williamstown, and the Braves turned up the defensive pressure in the fourth quarter to stop Haddonfield, 44-35. The Bulldogs wasted a 17-point night by Mike Lacatena.
Tariq Jett (20 points) and Kymere Chapman (18) had the hot hands for Rancocas Valley, which parlayed a fast start into a 49-44 defeat of Washington Township.
Melvin Allen dropped in 19 points for Schalick, which caught fire in the second half for a 49-45 come-from-behind win over Burlington Township.
New Egypt's Tyler Barnes (21 points) received little offensive support in a 61-33 loss to Pemberton. Malcolm Mason scored 15 for the Hornets, who grabbed an early 11-point lead and never looked back.
Tri-County. Senior guard Nick Lawson scored 9 of his 11 points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining, as host Deptford erased a four-point deficit in the final minute to rally past Gloucester Catholic, 36-34. Mike Shawaryn's double-double (16 points, 12 rebounds) fueled the Rams' upset bid.
Penns Grove remained two games behind first-place Deptford in the Diamond Division standings, as the host Red Devils rode a 30-point outburst by DaQuan Chase to an 88-66 rout of GCIT. Ge'Shawn Davis added 17 points, Tristen Lloyd scored 16, Garrett Wilson totaled 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Dominique Ware dealt 10 assists in the win. A.J. Stephens and Kevin Krowicki had 17 points apiece for the Cheetahs.
Chris Washington battled inside for 17 points and nine rebounds and sophomore Semaj Thomas - in his first stint at point guard - produced 14 points, five assists and just one turnover to help host Woodstown edge Glassboro, 54-50. Dawaunn Turner topped the Bulldogs' scoring with 20 points.
Olympic. Josph Taylor's eight assists typified Woodrow Wilson's willingness to share the ball, as 11 Tigers scored in an 88-81 win at Pennsauken. Jerome Walters had 20 points, nine rebounds and a pair of steals for Wilson, which withstood a second-half comeback by the Indians that was led by Manny Cortez (24 points) and Anewdy Saldana (19).
Burlington County. Alex Irvin and Matt Johnson scored 20 apiece for Northern Burlington, which pulled even with a 27-17 fourth-quarter surge and completed the comeback in overtime to bounce visiting Burlington City, 73-66. Josh Young led all scorers with 22 points, and the Blue Devils also saw Derrick Wright (15 points) and Jelani Glaze combine to make eight three-point baskets.
Led by Lloyd Smith's 10 points, host Holy Cross converted 10 of 13 free throws in the fourth quarter to finish off Palmyra, 41-36.
Nonleague. Tommy Feraco filled the stat sheet with 16 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and five assists to highlight Middle Township's 55-48 home win over Wildwood.
Lower Cape May's long-range assault featured eight baskets from beyond the arc and a game-high 22 points by Vance Matthews, but visiting Haddon Heights and Brandon Joyner (17 points) came away with a 48-42 road win.
Matthew Czyewski picked up 14 of his 16 points in a 24-7 third-quarter run, sending Doane Academy to a 61-51 win at Riverside.
Tyree Brown tossed in 21 points for Highland, which built a 17-point first-half lead and held on, 51-45, at Sterling.

Gloucester Catholic seized command in the Tri-County Conference Diamond Division title hunt, with Nicole Fallon and Allison Murphy combining for 34 points as the host Rams drubbed second-place Deptford, 56-29.
