Fri. S.J. boys' and girls' roundup: Late flurry lifts Cinnaminson

Sotell made two of his three three-point baskets in the final two minutes, and converted 6 of 6 free throws down the stretch in finishing with 16 points.

Xavier Wilson (19 points), Tim Kemmerle (14), and Dan Haddon (10) rounded out the Pirates' double-figure scoring. Moral Best had 20 points for Palmyra.

In other Burlington County League games:

Elijah Cain tossed in 23 points and Kennedy Chukwuocha netted 19 in leading Medford Tech to a 65-55 triumph at Burlington Township. Kristoff Smith and Jalon Wilson scored 16 apiece for the Falcons.

Matt Johnson's 16 points paced four scorers in double figures, as host Northern Burlington seized control early in mauling Moorestown, 70-54.

Tri-County. Ray Lawry picked up 12 of his 18 points in a 36-15 second-half surge, rallying Kingsway to a 52-42 victory at Pitman. Brad Fagan added 13 points for the Dragons, while the Panthers wasted a 22-point effort by Tim Delaney.

DaQuan Chase (27 points) and Ge'Shawn Davis (20) took turns picking apart Cumberland's defense, powering Penns Grove to a 74-57 home win. The Red Devils were especially tough in the paint - with Davis snaring 10 rebounds and Garrett Wilson blocking nine shots.

Brian Lukascy (17 points) helped spark a 28-4 third-quarter blitz, as Clearview broke open a tight game and coasted, 58-42, at Woodstown.

Nonleague. Buena used 20 points by Trayvond Barbary and a 21-10 game-ending run to put away visiting Pennsville, 62-50. Drew Burdsall scored 18 for the Eagles.

Girls' Basketball

Tori Smick scored a game-high 23 points and Kayla Mayers fashioned a double-double, with a dozen points and 10 rebounds, sending Woodstown to a 53-40 win at Highland in the Tri-County Conference.

Host Glassboro slipped past Salem, 43-42, behind 13 points by Carla Mancini and 11 from Rebecca Donnelly.

Burlington County. Stephanie Toy had 17 points and Maura Talvacchia added nine from long range in Moorestown's 41-34 home win over Northern Burlington.

Friends Schools. Kelcie Evans and Sophia Aguilar combined for 27 points, and host Moorestown Friends stormed out to a 12-0 lead in posting its fifth consecutive win, 44-11, over Westtown.

Nonleague. Alisha Fox lit up the scoreboard with 33 points as host Gateway drummed Maple Shade, 65-50. Jill Dombrowski scored 19 for the Wildcats.

Ashli Weems (18 points) got off to a fast start for host Millville, which enjoyed runs of 14-0 and 20-6 in dominating Overbrook, 57-29.

Buena rolled at Pennsville, 44-14, behind the scoring of Janay Smith (15 points) and Jasmine Miro (13).
