Tues. S.J. girls' roundup: Camden Catholic holds off Eastern

Elsewhere in the Olympic:

Cierra Nichols (17 points) and Taylor Holmes (12) teamed up to make five three-point baskets for host Lenape, which mounted a 36-23 second-half charge to pull away from Woodrow Wilson, 57-44. The Tigers' Kamari Talley topped all scorers with 19 points.

Darby Festa's 22-point effort was the difference for Cherry Hill East in a 44-37 triumph at Triton.

Sage Bennett (18 points), Kyanna Fillmore (13) and Jocelynne Jones (12) had the hot hands for Winslow Township, and the Eagles relied on an 11-4 second quarter to come out on top, 53-43, at Cherokee.

Tri-County. Taylor Walker led the way with 16 points for host Williamstown, which shook off a sluggish start to defeat Gloucester Catholic, 41-36. The Rams' Nicole Fallon poured in 24 points.

Sara Kramer scored 10 of her 16 points in a a 22-6 second-quarter spree, and senior forward Paige Settar celebrated her career high with 13 points in host Clearview's 52-28 romp past GCIT.

Stephanie Williams came through with 10 of her 21 points over the final eight minutes, providing enough cushion for Clayton to clip host Wildwood, 48-40. Jessica Freeman (25 points) supplied all of the Warriors' scoring in a 14-point third quarter.

The tandem of Kenya Woods and Ariana Slaughter produced 31 points as Salem slammed host Pennsville, 49-24.

Ayanna Williams led the Highland attack with 17 points, and Autumn Buck and Morgan Reid combined to clear 18 rebounds to allow the host Tartans to hold off Penns Grove, 37-34.

Burlington County. Taylor Umbrell (25 points, five steals) and Tara Ballay (17 points) each made four three-point baskets in carrying host Delran past Cinnaminson, 62-49. The Pirates' Jamie Campbell scored 12 of her 14 points from beyond the arc.

Florence erased an 8-2 deficit as Heather Horner (17 points) and Kaitlyn Poretti (14) fueled a 36-2 spree on the way to a 47-20 win at Medford Tech.

Rachel Dortch and Jackie Laurenti teamed up for 21 points as host Northern Burlington blasted Bordentown, 50-25.

New Egypt's Julie Clark, with a dozen points, was the lone double-figure scorer in a 24-14 win at Riverside.

Colonial. Gateway's Alisha Fox took game scoring honors with 23 points, but Paulsboro came away with a 43-30 road win as Dazhane Davis led the Red Raiders' balanced offense with 10 points.

Haddon Township burst out of the gates with a 20-2 game-opening blitz, and then withstood a 21-6 fourth-quarter comeback to edge host Audubon, 50-44. Bella Preziosi (15 points), Sara DeCinque (14) and Alayxiah Carr (10) supplied the bulk of the Hawks' scoring, while Maddie Lord (17 points) and Tyler Frankowski (15) paced the Green Wave.

Cape-Atlantic. Shannon Metzler's 12 points led nine St. Joseph players in the scoring column, as the host Wildcats routed Wildwood Catholic, 56-27.

Nonleague. Heaven Fillmore posted a double-double (10 points, 13 rebounds) and Claudia Sunkett scored 10 of her 16 points down the stretch, helping host Camden put away Pennsauken Tech, 44-22.
