Tues. S.J. girls' roundup: Eustace surges in overtime

Taylor Hudspeth and Alyssa Cirrucci scored four points apiece to fuel a 16-2 run in overtime, and host Bishop Eustace pulled away from Camden Catholic, 49-35, on Tuesday in Olympic Conference girls' basketball.

Hudspeth had 15 points and Jackie Brown added a dozen for the Crusaders, who converted all 10 of their free throws in the extra session.

Nicole Angelo's 11 points led the Irish.

In other Olympic Conference games:

Brittany Martin (16 points) and Desiree Furbert (12) accounted for all of Timber Creek's scoring in overtime, as the host Chargers turned back Winslow Township, 50-47. Winslow's Aisha Medley banked in a tying three-pointer at the regulation buzzer.

Taylor Watson picked up all six of her points in a fourth-quarter rally, including a layup with 20 seconds to go, and Brittany Snow scored a game-high 18 to lift Seneca over host Woodrow Wilson, 43-40. The Tigers came up short despite Kamari Talley's 16-point, 16-rebound, five-steal performance.

Tatiana Paris had 14 points while Lati Stafford and Vanessa Neal scored 10 apiece, leading Pennsauken to a 51-50 come-from-behind win at Shawnee.

Sophomore twins Kylie and Kelly Giedemann combined for 36 points in Washington Township's 53-34 romp past visiting Cherokee.

Yaz Villegas capped her 25-point effort by scoring nine in an 18-6 fourth-quarter blitz, as host Cherry Hill West rallied to take down Triton, 42-34.

Adrianne Small had 22 points and Morgan Harris scored 16 as Paul VI took command early and coasted, 60-27, at Camden. Heaven Fillmore provided a highlight for the Panthers by grabbing a dozen rebounds.

Burlington County. Taylor Umbrell nailed the 100th three-pointer of her career in scoring 12 points, and Aliyah Murray contributed 12 points, 11 rebounds and four steals to highlight host Delran's 48-21 triumph over Bordentown.

The tandem of Isis Young and Tyler Raysor teamed up for 42 points in powering Trenton Catholic to an 81-53 win at Burlington Township. Taylor Whitley scored 16 and Simi Adewumi contributed 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and a pair of steals for the Falcons.

Aliyah Jeune (15 points), Alliya Butts (14), Jaz Johnson (12), and Amanda Offenback (11) supplied the bulk of Holy Cross' scoring in a 61-38 victory at Cinnaminson.

Tri-County. Sara Kramer's six points keyed a 17-3 explosion over the final five minutes to rally host Clearview past Kingsway, 37-33.

Gloucester Catholic received double-figure scoring from Nicole Fallon (15 points), Rachel Barlage (12), and Allison Murphy (10) in rolling to a 60-25 triumph at Woodstown.

Madison McClintock dominated the lane, posting 13 points and 14 rebounds to make host Gloucester a 30-25 winner over Wildwood.

Delsea needed a 21-point outing by Dominique Hassinger to edge host Williamstown, 44-40.

Colonial. Anyssa Sanchez scored 17 for Sterling, which went on a 28-17 second-half surge that ensured a 42-32 victory at Woodbury.

Sara DeCinque of Haddon Township outscored Haddon Heights' Nadja Riggs, 17-16, and helped the Hawks survive a shaky second half to pull out a 41-38 road win.

Tiaja Harrold had 13 points, including 10 in the second quarter of Paulsboro's 33-27 victory at Collingswood.

Cape-Atlantic. Samantha Robinson scored 13 of her 17 points in a 34-7 first-half spree, and Julia Duggan totaled 16 points, 13 rebounds and four steals to highlight Ocean City's 62-19 home rout of Oakcrest.

Mandy Buirch (16 points) and Brittany Harden (12) had the hot hands for Sacred Heart in a 56-30 blowout at Buena.

Lauren Holden put in 13 of her 20 points in a 20-6 second-quarter spree, propelling Lower Cape May to a 56-42 victory at Bridgeton.

Karli Ernst fashioned a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, as Our Lady of Mercy ran out to a big lead in cruising to a 52-17 triumph at Hammonton.

Gabby Dudo (12 points) and Sammi Wetzel (10) sparked a 16-4 game-opening run that put host St. Joseph on track for a 47-27 rout of Cape May Tech.

Nonleague. Taylor Lewis knocked down three shots from beyond the arc in scoring 17 points, and Gabriella Bennett netted 16 to pave the way for Willingboro's 63-34 win at Eastern.
