Shutout gives Middle Twp. a soccer championship

Jacob Granigan and Tyler Leonard scored the Panthers' goals, and goalie Steven Hand knocked away two shots for the shutout.

Also in the Cape-Atlantic League, Wildwood Catholic bunched three goals between the 52d and 62d minutes of a 3-0 win over visiting Pleasantville. Jeff Wallace scored the game-winner, and Jon Gery added a pair of insurance scores.

Nonleague. St. Augustine's third straight 1-0 win beat visiting Shawnee, ranked No. 2 in South Jersey by The Inquirer. Dominick Palmieri scored the goal in the 15th minute with an assist by Chris Miller, and Hermits goalie James Higbee had eight saves.

Kingsway handed visiting Haddonfield its second loss, 1-0, on the strength of Vinnie Biasiello's goal from Tom Schmiegel in the 58th minute. Dragons goalie Jimmy Amorebella made 13 saves.

John Magrino and Austin McCleery each had a goal and an assist for Haddon Heights en route to a 4-0 win over visiting Paul VI.

Tenth-ranked Williamstown squeezed past host Mainland, 1-0, as Aaron Rose scored the goal with an assist from Chris Campbell, and goalie Andrew McNellis made three saves.

Zach Smick scored a goal and assisted on Patrick Love's goal as Woodstown rallied to beat visiting Millville, 2-1, in overtime.

Medford Tech's Ceasar Gonzales and Dave Pryzbylkowski each scored a goal in each half of a 6-2 win at Doane Academy.

Burlington County. Jon Mackie and Dan Schmid assisted each other's goals, fueling Holy Cross' 2-0 win at Bordentown. Schmid scored with 14 minutes left and Mackie followed 12 minutes later.

Burlington City broke open a close game with second-half goals by Ryan Allen, Harun Bozkurt and Umut Kaya, blanking visiting Willingboro, 4-0.

Olympic. Lenape pinned a 3-0 setback on visiting Winslow Township behind single goals by Colin Keyes, Stephen Meixner and Ryan Proebstele.

Cody Chladek's corner kick in the 17th minute resulted in Kent Dimmig's 11th goal of the season, igniting Seneca's 4-0 win over visiting Pennsauken.

Colonial. Wes Hunter's two goals buoyed Overbrook past visiting Woodbury, 4-2.

Tri-County. Pitman converted goals by Torey Langlois, Caiden Lopez and Roger Roman into a 3-0 win at Wildwood. Roman scored on a 20-yard shot in the 79th minute.

Glassboro outlasted host Delsea, 3-2, with single goals by Lucas Barousse, Tim Bernard and Avery Nevin-Buff.

Sean Reed's first-half goal was all the offense Gloucester Catholic needed to get past visiting Deptford, 1-0.
