Steele's career total of 543 K's surpassed the previous mark of 537 set by Kristi Gola in 2004. By tossing a three-hit shutout, the senior improved her season record to 11-4.

Erika Hepfl was the Lancers' hitting star, going 2 for 3 with two runs scored and two RBIs - including a two-run home run in the fourth inning.

In another Burlco game, winning pitcher Allison Francisco shut down Burlington Township on three hits and batted 4 for 4 and scored three times as host Moorestown rolled, 15-0. The Quakers banged out 14 hits, highlighted by Catherine Duffin's second-inning grand slam.

Cape-Atlantic. Kelly Lupton notched her second no-hitter of the season by pitching a perfect game in host Absegami's 11-0, five-inning romp past Lower Cape May.

Lupton induced a groundout to open the game and then struck out the final 14 batters. Melissa McCann, Lupton's battery mate, not only caught the perfect game but she also came through with two hits, two runs, and two RBIs.

Brittany Scott fanned 11 batters and walked one in hurling a three-hit shutout, leading Buena to a 3-0 victory at Wildwood Catholic.

Colonial. Junior Ryan Hynds boosted her career hit total to 101 to highlight Gateway's 12-2 rout of visiting Paulsboro.

Hynds batted 4 for 4, drove in a pair of runs, and scored three times. Teammates Allie Brady and Janelle Orsino combined for seven hits and four RBIs in support of winning pitcher Alyssa Welsh, who struck out nine over five innings.

Becky Transue (2-3, 2 runs, 3 RBIs) and Jackie Emerle (1-4, 3 RBIs) each went deep in sending Haddon Heights to an 11-2 triumph over visiting Haddonfield.

Olympic. Alissa Schoelkopf pitched a perfect game, including 11 strikeouts, and host Washington Township provided plenty of offensive support in an 11-0 romp over Pennsauken.

Cherry Hill West leftfielder Lisa Carfagno turned in a brilliant defensive effort, squelching a pair of rallies with inning-ending grabs and making a diving catch and throw to key a triple play in the sixth inning, as the Lions defeated host Cherry Hill East, 8-3. Kristin DiGuglielmo hit a three-run home run for the Cougars.

Rice Fazio's solo home run in the bottom of the fifth ended Shawnee's 12-2 home win over Timber Creek. Kristen Soprano and Kelly Dickinson each went 3 for 3 for the Renegades.

Tri-County. Olivia Lawrence knocked in four runs with two hits, including a two-run homer, as host Gloucester Catholic jumped on top early and dumped Deptford, 7-2.

Tiffany Schemeley doubled twice and drove in five runs to power host Delsea past Wildwood, 13-1. Starter Kristen Knorr and reliever Sam Peterson combined on a one-hitter.
