Fri. S.J. boys’ and girls’ roundup: Clearview clubs Kingsway

A driving rain and an assortment of Kingsway defenders did little to slow down Clearview's balanced attack on Friday, as the host Pioneers ran out to a nine-goal first-half lead and went on to win the Olympic Conference girls' lacrosse match, 13-2.

A driving rain and an assortment of Kingsway defenders did little to slow down Clearview's balanced attack on Friday, as the host Pioneers ran out to a nine-goal first-half lead and went on to win the Olympic Conference girls' lacrosse match, 13-2.

Jessica Loizeaux and Josie Quaile each recorded a hat trick, while Chelsea Derolf, Kim Tumolo and Lauren Young added two goals apiece.

Boys' Lacrosse

Mike Moran came through with three goals and three assists to help host Kingsway rally past Lenape, 8-5, in an Olympic Conference clash.

Sam Trill scored twice and assisted on a pair, and Tim Kemner added two goals in leading the Dragons back from a 3-1 deficit. Steve Killian made a dozen saves to earn the win.

Also in the Olympic Conference, Mark Rothman had three goals and an assist to fuel Cherry Hill East's 8-6 come-from-behind win over visiting Clearview.
