S. Jersey Girls: Williamstown sinks Mainland in overtime

Senior guard Jade Bonder was a perfect 8-for-8 from the foul line in overtime and finished with 17 points as Williamstown knocked off host Mainland, 56-51, in a South Jersey Group 4 tournament first-round matchup on Monday night.

As time expired in regulation, Braves forward Alex Raring hit a three-pointer from the wing to tie the game at 46. Raring led all scorers with 23 points. Junior forward Denisha Green added 11 points and grabbed 8 boards.

Also in Group 4, Atlantic City stormed out after intermission, outscoring visiting Southern Regional by 13 points in the second half en route to a 57-42 win. Sahara Lopez dropped 17 points and Ta'yon Morgan-Jones grabbed 10 rebounds.

Meghan Wallace knocked down a a career-high four treys for a game-high 18 points as Cherokee defeated visiting Shawnee, 37-30.

South Jersey Group 2. Kylie O'Donnell's precision from beyond the arc led host Sterling to a 53-20 first-round win over Lower Cape May.

The senior shot 5-for-7 from three-point land and scored the game's first 11 points as the Silver Knights raced out to a 19-4 lead after the first quarter.

Erin Brogan grabbed 13 rebounds and scored six of her 12 points in the second quarter as host Haddonfield outscored Cinnaminson, 28-14, in the middle quarters and cruised to a 46-32 win.

Senior guard Morgan Anagnou grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out seven assits along with her 10 points to lead host Middle Township past Barnegat, 43-23.

Delran rattled off a 23-0 first quarter behind Taylor Umbrell's nine points as the Bears defeated visiting Collingswood, 57-23.

Rachel Sisholtz came off the bench to knock down four three-pointers in the fourth quarter as Cherry Hill East cruised past visiting Millville, 77-27. Senior Michelle Onu grabbed 15 rebounds for the Cougars.

Danielle McKeown knocked down two threes and hit three mid-range jumpers on her way to 14 points, as visiting West Deptford knocked off Woodstown, 41-28.

Central Jersey Group 4. Rancocas Valley held visiting Montgomery to single digits in each quarter, as the Red Devils rolled to a 73-29 victory. Natalya Lee scored 17 points, including eight in the first quarter.

Central Jersey Group 2. Emily Lawson scored a game-high 21 points as Bordentown downed visiting Robbinsville, 61-45.
