Kira Singhaus, Courtney Patterson and Jenna Zagoren did not give Moorestown much of a chance to spoil Cherry Hill West's perfect season.
The three Lions swimmers accounted for three wins each and lifted West past the Quakers, 109-61, in a South Jersey Public B semifinal meet at Camden County Tech Monday.
Singhaus won the 100-yard butterfly (1 minute, 5.70 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (1:04.68), Patterson took the 200 individual medley (2:14.21) and the 500 freestyle (5:28.08), while Zagoren won the 50 freestyle (25.86) and the 100 freestyle (56.23).
Singhaus and Patterson also combined with Katelyn Muscat and Erin McBride to win the 200 medley relay (1:56) while Zagoren and McBride teamed with Lynn Juan and Amy Stelnaszyk to win the 200 freestyle relay.
Central Jersey Public A. Samantha Sides, Shelly Faykes and Marlee Ehrlich each won an individual event and swam with Jaimie Lynn Brookover to win the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:55.62) as Cherry Hill East beat visiting Cherokee, 95-75, in a semifinal meet.
Sides also won the 50 freestyle (25.51), Faykes took the 200 freestyle (2:02.91) and Ehrlich won the 500 freestyle (5:20.29).
BasketballKylie O'Donnell picked up 15 points and led Sterling to a 61-52 win over visiting Seneca in a nonleague game.
Sherron Howard collected 15 points as Cinnaminson tripped visiting Moorestown, 39-28.
Amanda Offenback exploded for 30 points and sparked Holy Cross to a 59-54 win over host Westampton Tech.
Jess Brown notched 19 points for Haddon Township in a 42-31 win over host Gloucester Catholic.
Meghan Nowak outscored host Maple Shade with 33 points as Gateway earned a 46-32 victory.
Burlington. Bria Champion struck for 13 points and led Pemberton to a 41-30 win over visiting Riverside.
Cape-Atlantic. Lauryn Fields accounted for 22 points and led Cape May Tech past host Our Lady of Mercy, 54-41.
Mainland got 16 points from Amy Macaluso and downed visiting Lower Cape May, 48-32.
